Democrats Will Regret Putting Mueller on the Witness Stand

Democrats are pumped about putting Robert Mueller on the witness stand in front of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees next month, but they may quickly come to regret this move.

Over the last month or so (with the help of their buddies in the media), Democrats have successfully taken control of the Mueller Report narrative. It is a sign of how successfully they’ve gaslighted the American public that they actually believe this report is a political strike in their favor – so much so that Hollywood has-beens are staging plays in which they read from the document. These people are so confused, they don’t even THEMSELVES realize that Mueller invalidated everything they’ve been accusing Trump of for the last three years!

As long as Republicans are on their game when July 17 rolls around, they will have a golden opportunity to use Mueller himself to turn this narrative around, irreversibly. All they need to do is stick to the facts. Did Trump or any member of his campaign team collude with the Russian government? Did anyone in Trump’s orbit have anything to do with the hacking of the Democratic National Committee? Is there any evidence whatsoever that Trump traded favors to Russia in exchange for dirt on Hillary Clinton? Is it not true that Trump could have, at any time, ended the special counsel’s investigation in one fell swoop?

These questions can illuminate the truth at the center of the Mueller Report, which is that Democrats have been engaged in a years-long smear campaign/witch hunt against the President of the United States.

“We are pleased that the American people will hear directly from Special Counsel Mueller. Our national security is being threatened and the American people deserve answers,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

Exactly. Our national security is absolutely being threatened. The threat is not only coming from Russia, China, Iran, and other countries trying to gain access to our election systems, but worse – it is coming from inside the government. It is coming from the Democratic Party, which has adopted such a hostility towards this president and his supporters that it has practically become an enemy of the state. For nearly three years, they have distracted this president from his duties, thwarted every attempt he’s made to put his duly-elected agenda into development, and stymied his nominations.

They have justified all of this by claiming that Trump is in league with Vladimir Putin, that he stole the election from Hillary Clinton, and that he is, at the end of the day, an illegitimate president. The Mueller Report put all of that to bed, though you would never know it by listening to Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, or any of the liberal talking heads on cable TV.

Maybe when Mueller himself says it, repeatedly, on the floor of the House of Representatives, the truth will finally sink in.
