Goodyear to Employees: “BLM” is Fine, “All Lives Matter” is Not Okay

According to Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, it is perfectly acceptable for employees to express their support for Black Lives Matter or LGBT pride at work. However, if employees are going to get political in their beliefs and start supporting conservative causes with their attire – All Lives Matter, MAGA, or Blue Lives Matter – there’s going to be a problem. Someone who works for the company took a surreptitious picture of a slideshow they were treated to as part of a diversity training meeting, and it proved that Goodyear takes a very dim view of certain forms of political expression.

Acceptable, according to the company’s zero-tolerance policy? Black Lives Matter (BLM), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride.

Unacceptable, according to Goodyear? Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, MAGA Attire, Political Affiliated Slogans or Material.

Here’s a look at the slide:

The employee spoke to the local news in Topeka under conditions of anonymity.

“If someone wants to wear a BLM shirt in here, then cool. I’m not going to get offended about it,” the employee told 13 NEWS. “But at the same time, if someone’s not going to be able to wear something that is politically based, even in the farthest stretch of the imagination, that’s discriminatory. If we’re talking about equality, then it needs to be equality. If not, it’s discrimination.”

The local news reached out to the Goodyear corporate office, which declined to say whether or not the slide had originated at their headquarters.

“Goodyear is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where all of our associates can do their best in a spirit of teamwork,” said spokesperson Melissa Monaco. “As part of this commitment, we do allow our associates to express their support on racial injustice and other equity issues but ask that they refrain from workplace expressions, verbal or otherwise, in support of political campaigning for any candidate or political party as well as other similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of equity issues.”

Boy, the left has really done a fine job of setting themselves up for a cultural, political, and corporate takeover, haven’t they? Nothing like declaring leftist slogans and groups “justice” but conservative sentiments “political” and “outside the scope.”

It’s like…we get why they would want to do it. We’re just not quite sure how they convinced so many people to go along with it.
