House Republicans Make Blockbuster Demand of Justice Department

In an op-ed for Fox News this week, House Republicans Matt Gaetz of Florida and Jim Jordan of Ohio called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to answer some pointed questions about the doings of Crooked Hillary Clinton, James Comey, the State Department, and the entire Obama administration. Imploring Sessions to appoint a new special counsel to investigate Comey, Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Cheryl Mills, Fusion GPS, and Robert Mueller himself, the two Republicans said the American people deserved to have answers at last.

A sample of the questions that Jordan and Gaetz want a special counsel to get to the bottom of:

Why in 2016 did FBI Director James Comey call the Clinton Investigation a “matter,” not an investigation? After all, Mr. Comey wasn’t Director of the Federal Bureau of Matters.

Why in 2016 did FBI Director Comey begin drafting an exoneration letter for Secretary Clinton, whom he called “grossly negligent” in an early draft of the letter, before completing the investigation?  Before interviewing several witnesses? And before interviewing Secretary Clinton?

Why in 2016 did James Comey and the Justice Department give Cheryl Mills, Secretary Clinton’s Chief of Staff, an immunity agreement for turning over her laptop computer? Typically, the Department would issue a subpoena or get a warrant and seize it. Why in this case did the FBI agree to destroy the laptop?

Why in 2016—one day before the Benghazi report was released and five days before Secretary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI—did Attorney General Lynch meet with former President Clinton on the tarmac in Phoenix?

In addition to these, Jordan and Gaetz said the American people were waiting to find out why Comey – not Lynch – made the decision on whether to charge Clinton, why the FBI paid for the Russian dossier, why Fusion GPS’s co-founder met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya before and after her meeting at Trump Tower, why Obama’s intelligence officials unmasked American citizens at a record pace in the final months of his presidency, and many other unanswered mysteries.

“On July 27, 2017, twenty House Republican members of the Judiciary Committee sent a letter to the Attorney General calling for a Special Counsel to get answers to the above questions,” they wrote. “On September 28, 2017, five House Republican members of the Judiciary committee met with the Attorney General and Justice Department staff to inquire about the July letter.

“The Justice Department’s response? Silence,” they continued. “It’s time for Jeff Sessions to name a Special Counsel and get answers for the American people. If not, he should step down.”

A dark cloud hangs over the 2016 election, and virtually none of the impending thunderstorm has anything to do with the Trump campaign’s association with Russian officials. The Obama administration tried to thwart democracy with the assistance of the intelligence community and a few outside sources like Fusion GPS. Lest there be any mistake, dirty deals went down and they are being handily covered up by this ongoing fraud perpetrated by the Democrats and Special Counsel Robert Mueller. They weren’t able to keep Trump from the presidency; now their goal is to undermine and ultimately destroy that which they could not stop.

If we are to restore America’s confidence in the justice system, a full investigation must be conducted. The congressmen are right – Jeff Sessions must step up to the plate…or make way for someone who will.

  • James Voegtline

GREAT, Its about time we get something going and some conviction.

  • Hawk

That is exactly right. This has been going on long enough with the real perpetraters doing all of the investigating instead of being investigated. The entire thing is a farce to this point. If Sessions wants this job, he needs to do it. We have waited long enough. It is time for the real truth to come out and this attempt to overthrow our elected president to be put to an end and ALL of those responsible be made examples of. The people have had enough and it is either this way or civil war. I, for one, do not prefer war.

    • Vinny A

I agree. They have been “passing the buck” for decades now, putting the blame on others when they themselves are to blame. It is time for them to either do their damn jobs, or I say, WE FIRE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM AND REPLACE CONGRESS!!

Given that the GOP controls congress, replacing it is a good idea.

          • Deborah Pratt

Time to ‘Houseclean’ our Voting system Before the 2018 elections!! VOTER ID for everyone. More stringent over-seeing at each voting place, as well. Since our ‘Immigration Settlement’ offices saw fit to simply ‘hand out’ SS numbers, etc. to illegal Muslim immigrants being flown into the country–we need a better means of identity!! Since most of them don’t speak English or have birth certificates, ‘stringent’ vetting is in order. It might not catch ‘every fish’ in the ‘net’ but it sure would cut the numbers drastically. Inter-state ‘checking’ of voters should also be put in place!! Enough of illegals having the power to vote our government in!! That is the privilege of ‘citizens’ ONLY!!! Vetting can be done while registering in ‘person’! That should go a long way to filtering out ‘dead’ people’!! Clean it up!!!

          • Frank Taylor

Excellent idea. Start with Constitution and proceed from there to the way electors are selected. The method of election is admittedly contrary to how you believe it should be done. You clearly do not like it, but it is the law of our land and defined very nicely in our Constitution Each state also elects two Senators, no matter the population. California elects two and Maine elects two. If you do not like how we elect our President, you must really be incensed at how Senators are selected to reach the total of 100. California though much larger only has two votes. All other states have same power in our Senate.

          • AKLady

You have provided a lot of insult, however, you did not answer the question I asked. A certain amount of fraud takes place in every walk of life. That. Frank, is part of the human condition. No amount of voter fraud effected the election. It was simply a right-wing exaggeration made to inflame the public.

You have an impressionistic view of news. You do not know how to gauge the relative trustworthiness of different sources,. You get too worked up without checking the specifics of claims.

          • Frank Taylor

Election voting fraud is nearly impossible to eliminate. Election rolls need to be purged every year to remove those known to be deceased and those who otherwise are not eligible to vote such as non-citizens. The election results in total were not affect to my knowledge by voter fraud, though in California, they do allow non citizens to get drivers license which is accepted as legal id in most state. I have yet to hear one thing specific that is have posted that misses being right on. election officials for most part do a solid job of registering citizens, monitoring their rolls and running elections. I do believe that voter ID should be required in all elections.

          • AKLady

Are you claiming that illegals go through the death notices to pick a name to use? I guess you also assume they ALL get together to commit that crime, so that no two people pick the same deceased. The huge holes in the right-wing argument is extremely evident with just a casual inspection.

Every state issues voter identification cards.

Every voter is assigned to a specific polling place.

Every polling place has a list of voters assigned to vote at their location.
If you are not on that list, you are either told to vote where you are assigned or given an “absentee” ballot which will only be counted if it is needed due to a tie or very close vote tally.

Oh, and let us not forget what is re

          • Frank Taylor

In those jurisdictions which require ID to vote, the person voting must show ID that matches name on list. And yes there have been instances of votes being cast by people no longer living. This is usually done by requesting absentee ballot and mailing back in, as if you are person voting. some persons are registered to vote in more than one state, since the state or jurisdiction they left did not remove them and there is not in place a method to have new voter removed from jurisdiction they left. Those persons not on list are given provisional ballot which must be verified prior to being counted. It is placed in sealed envelope and sent to elections office for verification. I have served several times as poll worker so i do have personal knowledge of at least how it was done in Florida when I lived there.mm als0 those persons registered in more than one state could have voted in all elections in previous state. In most cases, it is an innocent error and they just did hot have their name removed from previous state. I am not familiar with process now in California, but it is public knowledge that undocumented residents can get drivers license and thousands have. Can they register to vote. I have no idea.

          • AKLady

Really, you election fraud people are a hoot.
There are no mass exoduses from state-to-state by voters trying to vote a second time. The illegal vote numbers simply are not large enough for the huge level of publicity. I suspect we have Fox to thank for this idiocy.

          • AKLady

            1. You must prove citizenship when registering to vote.
            2. You must prove residency when registering to vote.
            3. You must prove age when registering to vote.
            4. You must prove identity when registering to vote.
            _______________
Do illegals get together, form large clubs, so they can keep any two or moor of them picking the same deceased’s identity to assume?
            _______________
Oh, and the State of Florida tried what suggested — the matching if deaths to voter rolls. It created such a mess, it is extremely doubtful any other state will implement such idiocy.

          • Frank Taylor

you are mostly right on this one. Age is not required but an official ID is usually required such as drivers license. theoretically only citizens can get drivers license, In florida, you must show social security card, birth certificate and proof of residence to get drivers license. That drivers license can then be used to register to vote. IN FLORIDA, drivers license is proof of citizenship if from Florida. Usually a birth certificate is required to get drivers license . Fraud is possible, but the elections officials do great job in keeping fraud to a minimum. It does happen.

          • AKLady

One must be 18 years of age to vote in most elections.

The age was reduced from 21 during the Vietnam War. People decided that if you were old enough to die for your country, you should damn well be old enough to vote.

To vote in Florida you must prove:

            1. Citizenship
            2. Residency
            2. Age
            3. Not be mentally incapacitated.
            4. Not be a felon.
            https://www.dmv.org/fl-florida/voter-registration.php

You really should not assume I haven’t looked up the facts before posting.
By the way, I was born in Miami.

          • Frank Taylor

you are as I said mostly correct. I guess it comes down to what is considered proof of citizenship. To get Florida drivers license now, you must show proof of residence, birth certificate and probably social security card. You can get one in matter of minutes if you meet other requirements, like road test or written skills test. The elections office will usually accept florida drivers license as proof of citizenship and identity.. I do not know how they check on felons or those with mental issues. They could do backround check i guess. When i moved back to Florida, i registered to vote and was given voters id in minutes so check is very light on number 4 or 3. I guess on first three, it would depend on what the agency rewquires. Floridas license would probably do it for citizenship. A person who wants to register false name could easlily do it with common sense and good computer skills. You can order replacement birth certificate on line and usually have it in couple of weeks.

          • AKLady

Mostly correct? Please check the link I provided.
By the way, I was born in Miami. I have family there.

          • Frank Taylor

When I first registered to vote, I walked into the Florida elections office and came out fifteen minutes later with registration card. Drivers license is accepted as proof of citizenship for practical purposes. To get that requires ss card and probably birth certificate, both of which can be easily forged. For the most part, the system works, but there is fraud and it would be hard to stop completely. When i got my drivers license at age 14,(restricted) i sshowed no id just had my dad with me and they knew him, but not me . I walked out in 10 minutes with license.

          • AKLady

You are behind the times. Most states now utilize high-tech, counterfeit protection on both their birth certificates and drivers licenses.

          • Frank Taylor

I could with just my computer make either document and it would pass most tests. Florida is one of those states who have strong anti counterfeit protection. The paper currency is much the same, but that also can be counterfieited. As preventive counterfeit technology advances, someone can always find a way to circumvent. For the most part it works for both ID and currency, but if someone can find a way to stop it , someone else can find a way to beat it.

          • AKLady

You can counterfeit a Florida license? Really, you have access to the required technology? I suspect you could come up with something that would up to being merely glanced at, but not a close inspection. Then, you may own or have access to a printer capable of laser engraving, embossing and peroration. Those safeguards and others are the reasons licenses can no longer be handed out at the DMV.

          • Frank Taylor

/california is the one exception to citizenship for drivers license. In florida, Drivers license is accepted as proof of citizenship for purpose of registering to vote and for most other things. Possession of that document speeds process for everything else, including registering to vote and applying for welfare. In my lifetime my social security number has been used by at least 14 other persons that i am aware of . there may be others. When I filed my tax, i found that my refund had already been sent to another person and check cashed. It was a chore to get things straightened out and took more than one year to prove that I was who I am and that I had never gotten the check. This time they did catch the person and filed criminal fraud charges. It was an undocumented resident.

          • AKLady

That is a problem that I have never experienced. A relative experienced credit card fraud. Since then, I’ve used a mailbox with a lock and before putting things in the trash, I shred everything that could lead to identity theft. Back when credit cards were run through imprinters, I always kept the carbons and extra copies.

          • Frank Taylor

For protection now against credit fraud, I use lifelock and have for several years. I have been notified when my social security number is run for credit three times, but have not had anyone succeed there. I am not pushing lifelock, since there are a number of companies that offer similar service. With my discover card, i get a text when it is used. It is always me, so there has never been a problem. Working with a federal government can be tedious to correct a problem like mine. I even have a friend who is retired military and was reported as deceased and his pension stopped and VA health care. He had to jump through hoops to prove he was alive and was who he said he was. took him six months of hardship with no source of income.

Money laundering is not a state or local crime, it is federal. Trump has never been charged with a criminal act and if you think so , you are very wrong. He has never been shown to be racist. In fact those of color who work for him, have nothing but support to show Your 4000 civil suits is just a tad high, though i do admit he has used federal bankruptcy laws to his financial benefit. He has never filed personal bankruptcy but has filed for some of his many corporations a number of times. As for Trump University, Trump settled without admission of wrong doing to just make it go away.

The electors are selected to follow the will of people in the state that the elector was selected. Nearly always, they follow the will of the voter. Seldom are they removed if they make it public that they will not. In fact four electors voted other than Clinton and two electors voted other than Trump. So combined Clinton and Trump received a total of 533 elector votes with Trump receiving 304 and Clinton 229. Six electors voted for other persons. We the people following our constitution elected Donald Trump. You can whine about the election, but face reality Clinton is NOT president.

          • AKLady

            Hillary won the popular vote.
            The EC installed Trump.

          • Frank Taylor

I acknowledge that she won the nation wide popular vote, but the elections as defined in our Constitution does not work that way. You seem stuck on popular vote but, that changes nothing. Clinton won popular vote though she did not get more than 50% of total votes cast. Trump won the election when he accumulated more than 270 electoral votes. That is a reality that you do not accept for some reason. There will be another election for President in 2020. When the Constitution was finalized, it begins with we the people, which means that they accept the system established Clinton could have won popular vote by 10 million and would still not be President. Her margin can be explained by vote in New York and in California.. In the remaining 48 states, she did not win popular vote.

          • AKLady

First: There are no national elections.
Second: The EC is only required to follow the popular vote in two states: Maine and Nebraska.
Third: The main justification for the EC was distance.

Distance no longer makes it impossible for the timely counting of the popular vote. Oh, and don’t bother with the nonsense that more populous states, etc, etc. Every citizen should have the right to equal representation

The politically elite, i.e., Electoral College, is not elected. How Electors are chosen varies from state to state. Most are chosen by a vote of the party’s central committee.

          • bendecido

With all due respect, my comprehension has nothing to do with this issue. The Electoral College is the final decision maker on the outcome of the election. Good night, I have to get up early tomorrow, so bye bye.

          • AKLady

Americans have reached the decision that the established “ruling class” of politics is no longer acceptable. Many people have become aware of how the Electoral College representatives are selected. That process is different in each state. The fact that the political elite can remove an Elector and invalidate their vote has become relative\ly well-known. People find it highly unacceptable. Many Americans are fed up with the deception of so-called Presidential Elections.

          • Frank Taylor

The democrat party happens to be the one with a large number of superdelegates , which it is true are selected by the elite in the Democrat party. Electors are chosen in same manner in every state in the general election.. It is a winner take all vote in each state. and state by state those running accumulate electoral votes until they garner at least 270 of the total 539/mmm As for Hilary winning, at last look Trump was living in the White House, not Hilary/ The Constitution establishes the system and those running are well aware of how it works prior to deciding to run. Delegates to electoral college are elected and have always voted according to the vote in the state, they represent. Once in a while, defections occur and they do not vote as the election went. In last election two electors defected from Trump and four electors defected from Clinton. In some states they are bound by law and in some states, they are not and can switch votes.

All the things in my post are right on. Each state decides on a winner take all vote how the electors when selected will vote. In nearly every past Presidential election, they follow the will of voters in their state. As for electors selected by party elite, the only party that has super delegates is the Democrat party. Each state determines how the primary will be coducted and how the electors will be selected. In some it is winner take all and in others it is according to split of vote. Outside of those electors who are elected, the party allows for Super delegates. which all went to Clinton . You need some education on our Constitution. We are a Democratic Republic, thus the use of electoral college for our President and the fact that every state, large or small is allowed to elect two Senators. Thus Maine has same vote in Senate as the much larger California. all of this is in college courses that I did take in pursuit of my degree. Political Science was my minor. Accounting was my major.

I do make mistakes or misread a reference source, but I believe that I am correct prior to posting on any subject. I do not know you or any thing about you, so I have no reason to insult you. You support for the most part what I have been saying on this. I was incorrect on when the party selected its electors should they win the state popular vote. I thought initially that it was done after the election, not earlier. History does show with a few exceptions, all electors selected to represent the state by state vote, follow the vote when they cast their ballot. Sometimes like last year, there are a small number of defections. Clinton lost four and Trump lost two. It is in our constitution and can be changed should the mood so require. a constitutional amendment is difficult to get through and for good reason.

Twenty-one states do not have laws compelling their electors to vote for a pledged candidate. Twenty-nine states plus the District of Columbia have laws to penalize faithless electors, although these have never been enforced.

          • Frank Taylor

Lowering voting age to 18 was quick due to political climate over the viet nam war. Changing electoral college to popular vote is a different animal since, it would require small state support. Maine for example would reduce their current clout. If electors defected in such numbers to change will of people, the political fall out would be massive.

Active duty military, for the most part, vote by absentee ballot. They remain residents of the state and city where they lived when they enlisted, or were drafted. On the other hand, military dependents change residency each time the military member is transferred.

Actually, the person who is not listed is given a provisional ballot which is kept separate in an envelope until the eligibility is determined or denied. most states do in fact require an id to vote . How would you know they are who they say they are without checking an id.

Non citizens period should not qualify for welfare. Sadly it is very easy to qualify. An applicant can apply now over the internet if they choose in nearly every state. They can upload copies of id to prove identity and level of income to show eligibility. The checks done are very light and allow for many who are not eligible to be approved. False ID is very easy.

          • AKLady

Official refugees may apply for welfare after their stipends run out.
You, sir, obviously still exist in the pre-computerization age.
The documents uploaded on-line can be computer verified far more rapidly and accurately than any human action. A computer can access multiple databases at one time, where a human can only examine on after another.
            .
False ID is very easy to obtain. Good one cost a lot of money. However, they do not hold up to the computer verification that takes place when benefits are applied for. On human tried to have my son arrested for attempting to register to vote under the name of a dead man. He is a junior. His father is buried at Arlington.

          • Frank Taylor

I am very computer literate. A false ID is also very easy to make on a computer. I could if i chose make one for any name i might choose. The verification process is easier with computer age, but they can only verify that the information provided matches existing data files. Emergency food stamps can be approved same day in many jurisdictions. The person doing check can only verify documents and information provided to various records. True it is quicker in computer age, but system in end is same. If documents and information pass their established process, the welfare is approved and usually in matter of a few days to a few weeks.

          • AKLady

Once upon a time, it was easy to make a false ID — with or without s computer, That is no longer the case. States have adopted safe guards very similar to those now used by the Federal Government to provide identification ofcounterfeit currency.

      • SDofAZ

We should do that anyway. It is abundantly clear there are too many compromised politicians. And those career agency people need to be removed as well. Sometimes the bureaucrats are worse than the politicians. I would also suggest that some age limits and time limits be imposed on the judicial and legislative branches. Time to turn over judges far past their prime and legislatures as well. And term limits should be imposed but until they pass this on their own, we should just turn em over every reelection run. If they do well, two terms, bad then kick em out after the first term.

Trump is reversing that faster than anyone thought. Hildabeast lost, get over it, socialism is being flushed to where it belongs.

The UE number = the number of people receiving UE benefits.
Unlike Obama, Trump has not extended benefits.
As a result, fewer people are now getting those benefits.
            They have not found jobs.
As long as you keep buying foreign0made goods, America will have high unemployment.

This is why term limits are necessary. And I do not think they should be getting better insurance, time off and a ridiculous retirement package. If caught doing ANYTHING illegal they need to be indicted and tried for treason, they represent this country and they are making us hated the world over with their actions and even lack of actions at times. We the people need to see this is done, do it in the voting booth, easy peasy. Oh and also any raises must be approved by we the people in the voting booth..

          • DonRS

Which of McCains action’s warrant the “Hero Badge”. Yes, he did suffer and I’,m sorry about that, but so did the rest of the POWs. His fellow POWs nicknamed him “Songbird”, not for his wonderful singing voice. Apparently, you have no idea of McCain’s entire history of a NO CHARACTER LOSER, dependent upon his daddy and granddaddy (navy Admirals) bailing his sorry ass out of problem after problem in the Navy. Are you speaking of McCain the ADULTERER? You know, when he returned from Vietnam, his once beautiful wife, recovering from a disastrous car wreck, bed ridden, so Johnny Boy began an adulterous affair, divorced his handicapped wife and married his current rich wife, living off her daddy’s money!

It is truly sad when fools like you, who demonstrate they KNOW NOTHING, still get to vote. There should be an IQ test to be able to vote. You’d never make the cut!

Do a little homework before you spout simple talking points

          • AKLady

Next time he appears in public, keep a close eye on his arms and how he moves them. His wife’s accident took place while he was a captive. It was seven years after his return that they divorced.

          • DonRS

And your point is..? Do you think McCain was the only Vietnam POW to suffer? Give us a break.

As you indicate, his first wife suffered her serious car accident when Hero McCain was a POW. She chose to not tell him of her problems, because she didn’t want to add to his burden. He started dating his current wife, 9 months prior to his divorce and married her one month after! I repeat, he has NO CHARACTER, integrity or honesty. He’s a philanderer and an ADULTERER!

          • SDofAZ

If you believe climate science is settled then you shouldn’t have children and you shouldn’t drive or use electricity. In fact, you shouldn’t eat, that food was made with synthetic fertilizer, which creates nitrous oxide, a gas with 300x the global warming potential of carbon dioxide.

The “songbird” slur was never made by those imprisoned with McCain. This bs was started during the primaries in So. Carolina. I won’t disagree with you about his divorce but I wonder about your claim that his father bailed him out of his many Navy problems. What problems are those? It’s easy to make a claim but a lot harder to substantiate it.

          • Jeff Worthington

well, one could start with the fact, had it not been for nixon pardoning him..

          • Robert Dostoevsky

Not familiar with that one but since you mentioned it maybe you can forward me a link.

          • DonRS

Sorry, Dostoevsky, McCain’s record is well documented. Just a little home work on your part, rather than arbitrary denials, might help you understand the facts. The “sonbird” nick name was indeed applied by fellow Vietnam POWS. It may well have been publicized in the SC primary, but the source was fellow POWs, and it was publicized long before the SC primary.

Potential DISMISSAL from the Naval Academy, finishing 3rd from the bottom, and Naval Flight training for McCain’s behavior are documented history, not “claims.

          • SDofAZ

Well said but facts to Robert are a waste of time really. He is what he is, a dem wit and not the brightest bulb in that pack of dem bulbs! Or put another way, not the sharpest pencil in the pack! And my view on trolls is you can NOT fix stupid!

          • Robert Dostoevsky

Potential dismissal? You can finish last and still not be dismissed.
What fellow prisoners called McCain “songbird”? After he was released from the hospital he was in solitary confinement for two years.

          • DonRS

Yes, potential dismissal – but, due to the influence of his daddy and granddaddy, he was retained, but 3rd from the bottom. Not the other way around. McCain was a POW for 5 1/2 years.

          • Robert Dostoevsky

I’m not sure what the potential dismissal is. Even if he finished last that would not have been grounds for dismissal. Since his grandfather died when McCain was nine I’m not sure how much influence he had.
I know McCain was in captivity for 5 1/2 years, my point about him being in solitary confinement for two years is: who accused understand of being a songbird during that time?

          • DonRS

Wow, something you don’t know! You’ve got it backwards. The punishment was being allowed to graduate, but at the bottom of his class!

His father and grandfather were the first father and son to become Navy 4 star Admirals. They were famous and had very good reputations, with a wildass, “maverick” son and grandson. Legends have great power, alive and dead!

Fellow POWs were aware of McCain’s treachery, in his statements while a POW after he capitulated.

Do just a little homework to support your opinions, it will save you some embarrassment.

I don’t like the SOB, but unless you underwent the same torture he did and didn’t crack leave that part of his history alone. And drop the completely untrue “wet start” BS story too. – Let’s leave the fake facts to the NWO Marxists (aka democrats) We have tons of true things against RINO McCain without digging up crap from 50 years ago, like all the unreported sexual assaults you see coming up from decades ago. Forget about that crap. We have things in the here and now to deal with.

          • DonRS

Matthew, your defense of McCain is hollow. The “wet start” incident aboard the U.S.S. Forrestal, is well documented, including McCain’s rushing away to safety below decks, while many sailors, who rushed to aid those in danger, DIED! Yes, a Navy board absolved McCain of responsibility, but remember – repeatedly, McCain was absolved or forgiven for his misbehavior in the Navy – in addition to the “wet start” incident, two of the biggest were him not being DISMISSED from Annapolis and from Naval flight training for his pitiful performance, due to the intervention of his daddy and granddaddy – Navy Admirals, both!

I agree and said, McCain suffered as a POW, but that doesn’t make him a hero. Indeed, many POWs broke, as did McCain – but many did not – they were the heros! Based upon McCain’s lifetime record, “Hero” is totally inappropriate.

          • bttrap

            a men

          • USN Vet 31yrs Svc

The Forrestal incident was a tragedy that has been studied to the nth degree. The film footage is used in leadership training, damage control training & fire fight training. Until this happened, air crews and squadron personnel were not trained to fight fires & explosive ordnance conflageration. All sailors are now part of the damage control and fire fighting. Members of teams trained to react. All must now respond to General Quarters & report to pre-assigned stations. Officers, not part of ships company, were allowed to stay in their state rooms. No longer. They report to Ready Rooms and GQ stations. All because of the Forrestal.
If you look at the film, you will see a rocket fired from a fighter on the starboard side flight deck and hit an A-4 aircraft on the port side flight deck loaded with bombs. McCains A-4 was engulfed with flames and loaded with 500 # bombs. He also did not have a boarding ladder to escape his aircraft. A-4 aircraft do not have internal ladders. Ladders must be placed by ground crew.
Blaming McCain for the Forrestal is BS. He was a victim. Blame the rockets that were known to launch without being triggered by crew. Stray voltage would do it. Now armaments are armed on the catapults only. LAU-7 rockets were discontinued until fixed.
Although tragic, The Forrestal incident has saved lives ever since.

          • DonRS

Thank you for your service and expertise brought to this discussion.

With all due respect, I didn’t say McCain CAUSED the disaster. I said he ran away to safety, while other sailors DIED helping.

After every tragic accident (not incident), the cry is, “let’s learn and take action to make sure this NEVER happens again.” Talk about BS – accidents will ALWAYS HAPPEN. 134 lives is a high price to pay for the failure to prepare. While it may be that the exact same accident won’t happen, exactly as did the U.S.S. Forrestal, similar accidents have and will continue to happen! Perfection is unachievable.

Civilian aircraft have vastly better accident records than do the military aircraft, though the military aircraft are often simply modified civilian aircraft. The key differences are: 1) civilian maintenance is performed by more rigourously, by more experienced and professional mechanics and more rigorously inspected and 2) some military aircraft are extend the technology envelope further than civilian aircraft. Similar issues apply to most all military equipment!

I’m sure procedures were improved, as a result of the accident and everyone can be thankful for that small benefit.

          • USN Vet 31yrs Svc

            Your Welcome.

The very last thing you want is an untrained Naval Officer invloved during the conflguration. They are the last ones. Their expertise and personal safety must be protected for future missions. Junior people would take what ever that officer said as gosple and respond despite the fact the officer had zero training. he would have been a hinderance and a safety hazard. The flight deck personnel are trained to respond and practice it constantly. More so today.
A-4’s and F-4’s are not modified civilian aircraft. in fact, a navy F-4 is different than an Air Force F-4. You cannot land an airforce F-4 on a flight deck. it will break its legs. The air force did not have A-4’s.
As far as civilian vs military maintenance goes, A civilian will not work 20 hours to get an aircraft up after major repairs. Military will. the military are highly trained to meet the mission requirements and they don’t punch a clock.
aircraft accidents are generally pilot error and very few are maintenance error. Most maintenance accidents are equipment/parts failure.
You have no idea the number of aircraft that have had rework schedules extended to meet mission requirements. it has been especially true the last several years due to money and aircraft availability for deployment requirements. Many an aircraft were cross decked from departing carrier to arriving carrier during VN. Air and maintenance personnel too.

Many hours on the flight deck loading weapons for major Alpha strikes. Flight quarters being 12 hours and deck crews working 18 hours every day while in north tonkin gulf. Incidents and accidents were inevitable. Blaming a pilot in the cockpit is beyond belief. Even the pilot of the fighter that had the LAU-7 rockets is not at fault.

Hi is as far from a war hero as I can think of .

          • USN Vet 31yrs Svc

Are you ignorant. He did not crash his jet. Quit spewing BS stories. Watch the Forrestal film. You might get a different perspective. Yes, he did get knocked out of the sky by SAM missile. My sister squadron lost 9 air crews out of 12 the same way. All flying A-4 jets. You can blame LBJ and Admirals for losses. Ordered to bomb specific targets in Hanoi but not SAM sites. the pilots were targets from the start. He was also flying an A-4E with a J-52 engine that left a black smoke trail that could be seen for miles on the in bound to the target. SAM missiles were ready for them. They launched 100’s at the air strikes.
I have know knowledge of McCain’s performance in prison. I was not there. I would only listen to those there.

I appreciate and laud McCain’s service. He was a great American. He endured horrific treatment at the hands of the NVA. But I’m past the point of thinking he should step down. He should have been gone three (or more) election cycles ago. He is the poster child for term limits. Consolidated power over time, got on all the good committees. But I truly don’t know why (unless they implanted a chip in his brain) he behaves the way he does. Directly contravening a sitting Presidents wishes. Always in opposition to the majority of the electorate. A Special Counsel needs appointed, and Mueller should step down by recusal. He cannot investigate without shadowing the results with his past. Who would believe him?

        • Susan Short

McCain is brain dead! He has no clue, and the liberals now love him!

        • Reggie Smith

All of the promises John McCain made during his last election were lies. He preached getting rid of Obamacare, then voted to keep it. He promised to stop immigration, but he voted against it. He is a disgusting turncoat. And, it’s all because he has a person hatred for the President. He was elected to represent the people, not to vote against every idea that the President has, just because of his hatred. He needs to go, along with the majority of these professional politicians of both parties, who only concern themselves with their own personal interests.

          • Robert Dostoevsky

          • Mathew Molk

Where the hell have you been? She was at the vanguard of the deal.

          • Robert Dostoevsky

She wasn’t even in the discussion, a lower level State Department person was on the review committee. Several government agencies as well as the entire cabinet signed off on the deal. Just to be clear, we are talking about mining rights not actual uranium.

          • cv

Guy, she signed off on it. So you’re saying she didn’t read it? Doesn’t matter. You sign, you’re responsible. Get real!

          • Robert Dostoevsky

I was just responding to M Molk who said she was the vanguard of the deal. I never said she didn’t ultimately sign off on the deal.

          • SDofAZ

She, Bill, Clinton Foundation and Bozo were all over it. Evidently you think signing does not make them aware of the deal. Hum?

          • Robert Dostoevsky

I never said that H. Clinton was not aware of what was signed. It’s interesting that no one even mentions the other cabinet members or agencies that signed off on the deal.

          • SDofAZ

Oh really, the implication was that she was not aware no matter what you claim now. And it is the same with all trolls. I believe you have proved you are a troll. And the entire administration of Bozo and that includes the appointed or peter principle leadership of agencies are implicated and complicit Robert.

Ok, heard this morning it was 25%, not 20%. Regardless, the “elephant in the room”, what did the American taxpayer gain by this transaction?

          • Robert Dostoevsky

I’m not sure we got anything! Why it happened is not clear but back in 2010 things were a lot friendlier between Russia and the U.S.
The government approved the sale of a Canadian mining company that has uranium mining rights in the U.S. Since several government agencies were involved and the entire Cabinet signed off on the deal why do you say Hillary did it?

          • C Johns

Follow the money. Huge (millions) contribution to the Clinton Foundation, Bill Clinton goes to Russia and gets paid $500K for a speech. Now ask yourself, selling uranium rights did what for the American people. As Secretary of State, this deal had to be approved by Hillary.

    • RC

You got it right. Personally, I feel ANYONE appearing before any congressional committee or being questioned by the house or the senate should be hooked up to a polygraph. It just might scare some of those liars into telling the truth. And something that isn’t being told is that Comey has “investigated” the Clintons several times. Each time he found them not guilty of wrong doing. I’m beginning to think just about everyone in the capital thinks we’re all too stupid to understand when we’re being lied to by a bunch of politicians. Civil war? If Trump is impeached in some kangaroo court there should be an armed uprising. That’s what those Socialists posing as Democrats and RINOs fear. That’s why they want to repeal the Second Amendment.

      • organic granny

I think with comey it’s not so much “not guilty” as it is “I find nothing that warrants further investigation.” A slick attempt to cover the fraud and corruption that everyone knows exists.

        • RC

Seems to me that not warranting further investigation would be pretty much the same as not guilty. I totally agree that there’s fraud in government, and it’s been going on for years. It definitely must be stopped and I feel if surrounded by the right people Trump can do it. People like Jeff Sessions, Mitch McConnell and a few others are not the right people. What seems very strange is that Clinton, both Bushes and Obama cleaned house of Republicans as much as possible. When Trump tries, OH MY GOD, he’s destroying our government. We most definitely have to get rid of all the establishment types on both sides of the isle. And there’s one more thing that really sticks in my mind. Any person being questioned by any part of Congress should be hooked up to a polygraph. For any so called liberals reading this it’s a lie detector. It just might scare some of the liars into telling the truth for a change.

          • organic granny

Comey kept his record “clean” by not uttering the precise words “not guilty”. Terminology is everything in law and politics.

A polygraph is a good idea as a scare tactic, but you do know that it is not allowed as evidence in court??? Polygraph results are not considered to be reliable…too many ways the machine can be thrown off.

          • RC

It’s been made very clear by the Obama appointed judges and others that Congress and the justice system are in no way connected. So appearing before Congress is much different than standing before a judge and though I don’t know for sure, a polygraph just might be the way to go. When one of those people being questioned lies it could be put to that person immediately and it just might bring out the truth. This thing about feeling all being questioned are honorable people who would be truthful, especially under oath, is absolutely ridiculous. I think you might agree.

          • organic granny

They’ll lie to their mammas to hold on to their place in the artificial sun of politics.

My point is that polygraphs are not reliable, meaning that they often give false or inconclusive readings. That’s why lie dector results are not allowed as evidence in a trial. I’m pretty sure that anyone savvy enough to get elected or to get a job in the govt upper hierarchy knows what little weight a polygraph carries.

          • organic granny

I don’t know of anyone who thinks politicians are honorable and truthful. I also have never indicated that I thought that.

What has Putin got on TweetyPie? How is he planning to blackmail him? Hilary is out of office, she can’t do any more harm to the nation, but the Trumpster certainly can. So why waste time on her? That ship has sailed. You Trumptards have your heads so far up the orange arse that you can’t see what’s going on. You must be used to the smell, similar to what you smell when you go out behind the barn to screw the sheep (or your sisters).

  • Sessions is a trojan horse plant of the rino resistance and is not to be trusted. He recused himself like the wimp he is, and then doesn’t go after the real criminals, those who lied under oath, leaked information, all blatant crimes, yet he does nothing. POS traitor.

  • itsfun

    Its about time!!!!

  • Mountain_Dew_518

Sessions has been in office too long and too many of his buddies (demonrats and rinos) he is chicken about hurting their little feelings and he is trying to ride the fence. This is why no senator/congress person should EVER be made AG. Sessions has now proven himself to be a wimpy turd. His buddies seem more important than the America Citizens. I wish President Trump would FIRE Sessions.

  • My “Confidence” in the entire justice system, will NEVER be restored. When the highest law enforcement officer in the country shows no sign of investigating obvious crimes committed by other government officials, the system is crooked and broken! Our entire government is crooked, and I fear very little can be done about it, it has gone too far for too long, like a virus that can never be cured! “Absolute power, corrupts absolutely”. A truer statement was never made!

    • gotabgood

Tell me when did you have confidence in the Justice system??
Was it when ACA was passed by the SCOTUS not once but twice?
Was it when Cheney and lil’ bush went behind closed doors to testify without being sworn in, or any recording device?
Was it when Bill Clinton was found guilty of getting a BJ?
How about when Reagan slipped out without being convicted of treason?
Or maybe when Ford pardoned Nixon.
Or when they let Cruz’s father off the hook for killing JFK?

If people haven’t figured out that this is nothing more than a ploy by CORRUPT CAREER POLITICIANS to cover their own asses for the next election, the people will get exactly what they deserve! They ( ESTABLISHMENT GOP) know damn well that even if an investigation is opened no one will get any answers until way after the election if then! This pure political BS!

  • desert sage

The glitch is… asking a crime family [DC] to investigate… it’s self.
Especially when the majority are shysters, and the few honest members that seek justice, have every reason to fear for their lives. It will take Divine intervention at this point. [a miracle]

You talk against Obama for the same reason and for bowing before other leaders.
You jump all over Hillary for an Uranium deal with Russia.
Why? Because they did something you think was against America!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I concur with all topics related to a much needed investigation. With respect to Hillary selling off 20% of the US uranium rights to Russia, I want to know what did the American taxpayer get in return? If Sessions can not put this on the “front-burner”, I would encourage his swift resignation.

Look, I was a policeman in Cleveland, and not a DUI cop either. – I did police work, caught crooks and made felony arrests. From day one I was flabbergasted by Comey. (in essence a cop) using prosicutorial discretion, which he did not have, and choosing not to prosecute Clinton, instead of turning over the evidence to the AG who DOSE have such powers. (Although I think we all know how that would have gone anyway.)

Comey should be arrested and tried for Mis, Mal and Nonfeasance. It was a total abuse of powers. Lynch is also guilty for not calling him on it We have 8 years left on the statute of limitations if the same 10 year on a felony rules apply.

OK Jeff the inert. Why no indictment and arrest? The evidence is clear and overwhelming.

I was a liberal democrat for forty-five years (although displeased for the last 10), but resigned from the party because of Dems’ wanton disregard for the law. Sanctuary cities, letting off their Dem Lib friends on serious charges, opening the borders, protecting lawbreakers, and breaking laws repeatedly (e.g. the immigration act} tells me they put their agenda above the laws of the land. This is America, you don’t do that. You abide by the laws and work with others to change them. And if you are going to do the kind of dirty business carried out by Comey, Clinton, Lynch, or Obama, you should at least keep it out of the public eye. It’s so bad now that half the country knows they’re all guilty as heck. The other half keeps swallowing the con game.

  • Tasine

Thank God we have at least 2 real people in Congress who have some integrity and honesty!!!! If something is NOT done about these self loving criminals, America is DOWN THE DRAIN. Thank you, Matt Gaetz of Florida and Jim Jordan of Ohio!!!! I wish Arizona would elect some honest people instead of the likes of John McCain..

    • bttrap

      add illinois to your list

ALL RIGHT! Yep, Illinois needs to find SOMEONE honest enough to support good people instead of supporting the state’s RATS.

          Good Girl

    • nocbsfan

I know Flake is on his way out, but Az. still elected him and need to scrutinize their candidates a little better, perhaps you should include Flake in with McCain Hi Tassy

      • Tasine

Unfortunately AZ in one way, sorta resembles its neighbor, California. I heard a year or two ago that there are those in the southern part of AZ who wanted to secede from the state. Frankly, I wish they would and leave the good part to the rest of us. Where I live seems to be a lot more conservative than the southern part of the state. At present I see part of the nation’s problem as being a two party voting system. Both parties are turned to nothing worthwhile, and I,for one, would love to see BOTH GO, LEAVE, RETIRE, SCRAM, GET OUT OF OUR LIVES. One can vote for someone not on the ballot, but the world knows that is not a vote that will win anything. There’s little need to beat up one who has already quit, nocbsfan. Flake is worthless, but does not seem as evil as McCain.

How’re you doing, sir? Good to hear from you again. I’ve lately been super busy and not online as much as usual, but after all the holidays the keyboard will be used a LOT. Be well, nocbsfan! 😉

        • nocbsfan

Arizona used to have some sense about it when I lived there I was part of the party and things were doing well But that was before McCain. And have to hang my head because I helped him get where he is I worked on his campaign not a major roll that is not was I was trying to sound like But I did round up votes on his behalf so I apologize to the citizens of Arizona and wish I could take it back I have to admit I was wrong (Boy thats hard) Hope you will enjoy the holidays.
BTW are you still playing for the church?……..Stay sweet Tass

          • Tasine

No need to feel bad about helping him years ago. Politicians who enter the national lottery OFTEN turn bad because it is the only way to force others to listen to their ideas. I understand that. I don’t like it, but I do understand it. The ONLY thing to stop that problem is to stop politicians from thinking they are entitled to life time work as elected officials, and THEY are not about to write a law changing things……they have it MADE. It will be up to us, and since most voters pay absolutely NO ATTENTION to what is happening in DC, I doubt that will ever happen. The best hope we have is a sorry hope: our politicians have bankrupted our government. It won’t be able to function once no one will accept our money. When that happens, and no pay is coming in for politicians, they will QUIT, and that will be our only chance to save this fine nation.

Yep, still playing piano. That church had been without musical instruments accompanying the singing for some 7-8 years before I volunteered. It is a very small church, and one of the most dedicated ones I have ever entered, or that is the way I see it. No one in its congregation could play. The instant they heard I do play, they asked me to be their pianist. I’m loving it!!!

          • nocbsfan

That is my girl once you have that calling go for it and serve as best you can Course I know you play well but it is so good you are willing to serve in that capacity. I am really proud of you Tass and proud you are my friend

          • Tasine

Thanks, my good and true friend. How’s life treating you these days? Mine is the same old, same old boring day-to-day hum-drum existence. But I am well so no complaints.

  • justanagent

The last two paragraphs sum it up. If we truly hope to fix this nation we will have to call an article 5 convention of states. We can make our government accountable and we can empower the states to take action when federal agencies attempt to cover up criminal conduct. That is what federalism is all about. The states created the federal government and the states have the power to control it and hold it accountable, even if that requires amending the constitution.

  • ol jim

Good luck getting any information from this Government, answers to this would stop their cash flow from under the table. They love money more then our country. Get rid of these people.

This is another perfect illustration of why I have correctly dubbed them the “Re-PUNK-licans”, and have diagnosed them as having the dreaded BBsFB disease – BB’s For Balls! I use the analogy of the boy-scouts (GOP) taking on the Mafia ( Dem/Communists) – the do-gooders with their slingshots and the killers with their machine guns! You see, the CPUSA sticks it up their asses every chance that they get; the Re-PUNK-licans only and always just kiss their asses every chance that they get ! We have become a third world banana Republic with no rule of law because of these chicken-sh^t ans treacherous, punk-azz bastards! Tell me where I am wrong, IF YOU CAN! This little chipmunk has got to be made to leave the scene ASAP; what they need to do is replace him with someone like Tom Delay who was FORCED to resign by the Communist Party USA on “Trumped” up charges because he was a thorn in their asses and was very effective at stopping their take-over of our DEAD REPUBLIC -GROW A PAIR FOR THE COUNTRY’S SAKE!

Now we got Kim saying he is going to kill Trump. Now bear with me, Hollywood decapitated him , murdered him in plays, rappers killed him in video, Antifa calls for his assassination, Ult Left calls for killing him, posts all over Twitter and Facebook call for killing him, now how easy is it for them to all say when he is murdered, OH we didn’t mean it, we never wanted it, we are so sorry? On and on. Think of the riots, the violence, the people who have been so violent and filled with hate, for what? A president who actually puts us first? A president who actually brings jobs and money back to America? A man who brings respect back and tries to secure us and keep us safe from terrorist? WTF??????????

I think Jeff Sessions is bought and paid for by crooked corrupt Hillary Clinton and is the reason he is avoiding having to have a special investigator to find out about crooked corrupt Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Bob Muller the Nazi, and the democratic medaling in the election. I guess he fears his corruption will come out about him. I maybe wrong on my assumption but I am not wrong on crooked corrupt Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Bob Muller, the DNC and the crooked corrupt democratic party all mafia and KKK members.

  • SDofAZ

Finally Sessions must cook or get out of the kitchen. No more backing down. It is time for the dem wits and the rinos who are republicans in name only but dem wits in their actions and records and their leaders as in Bozo and even the NWO Bush dynasty administrations to answer for their crimes! And Mueller investigating anything about Russia is a farce. He resided over the Uranium Deal, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, and everything illegal Bozo has done up to his leaving the FBI in 2013. Then his also compromised pal, Comey, resided over the rest. These two are guilty of collusion at the very least. Time the entire mess was properly investigated and the person investigating has to be untainted by the DC cesspool. Is that possible?

  • Alicia Cervera

That just as bad as cal lawmakers assuming they have more reason to keep and bear arms. Do you know that California law makers signed a bill, basically making any gun laws do not affect them. Why they think they are better than us. It’s the same with what has happened with this,

It’s about time we see real justice where the truth sees the light of day and criminals are put behind bars. One thing I know. People can hide at length from the laws of man, but they cannot hide from Almighty God. He is not a man that He should lie. Mankind should have great fear and a tremendous reverence and respect for the One and Almighty God. Mankind should tremble at the thought of coming before Him with unclean hands and lips. People in high office who lie to the public and people who go out and scream obscenities at the sky and at God because “Trump got elected” are in the same foolish neighborhood as all the rest of the Jesus haters and God deniers. • Rick Wenthe

This is a difficult decision what America is fighting is two off the worst crime families in US history, They use the trillions in wealth behind them to intimidate , pay people to accuse people of wrong doings , yes I believe innocent until proven guilty and to not just take someone word like the russian dossier was true and it let them bring up so many bogus inquiries, And Now some DEMs are bringing up impeachment which America deserves better. Like the first two that should be impeached are Hillary Clinton, and the Obamas. It is time for americans like me to stand up to all these very rich and powerful people that have been ripping Americans off for ten yrs minimum. We have to stand up for what is right and not be bamboozled for the umteenth time. If people believe that All Dems always say any thing this president brings up as like tax reform that it is just for the Rich the same answer’s we have always had. Now if we don’t cut the Corporate tax to 20% the engine that drives this country small businesses who still have people working for them for 30-50 yrs something are corporations have changed more to when people turn 50 to get rid of them no pension only what you have contributed to your own 401K. It used to be people stayed at some jobs for life, we have to have this return so are young people working had to graduate like my eldest a BS in Math my youngest in his second yr is taking Organic Chemistry trying to become a chemist. Those kinds of student use to be rewarded for earning a higher level degree. Lets take back America from the people who have just gotten used to stealing from us.

I would like to see Hillary on the hot seat just as much as anyone else. If she goes down, it would set off one big chain reaction. The Democrats and the RINOs can’t afford to let that happen. Hillary knows what closets have skeletons. If she goes down, a boat load of people along with many members of Congress could go down with her and Sessions knows it. The only people that will be prosecuted will be the scapegoats forced to take the rap for her. As long as the people allow it, she will continue to be above the law and will keep thumbing her nose at all of us. I would be pleasantly surprised to see her in an orange jump suit and handcuffs. Not going to happen.

Obama leading the whole mess and his name not mentioned. The man is an escape genus. Many people lined up to go to prison for their crimes of doing what Obama has ordered them to do and his name is not listed, WTF is going on?

It’s about time, all this Sessions has been doing is covering for the Clintons as he is another SWAMP RAT that needs to go.

To investigate these assholes doing the investigating now, would be to put an end to the Trump/Russia farce, and put a TON of Obama and company in the joint!

This article is 100% correct Session must do his job or get to steppen,,, Clinton must have some really dirty things on sessions for him to fear her so much.. Maybe there should be investigation into AG sessions,,,, it looks very bad for him to not investigate all these treasonous actions by demorats and Clinton family mob.

Come on it had to be the Russians Hillary wouldn’t lie or make stuff up would she? And we know Obama always told us the truth after all his administration was transparent wasn’t it? The answer to it all is simply that the democrats are a cancer in Washington.

If we want to restore the US and consolidate its corroded democracy by the dominant interest groups in the shadows, which led to the presidency a resentful mestizo against the US, its free enterprise society and its moral culture (Christian Protestant); It is mandatory to do it under President Donald Trump, who does not owe his position to these groups, composed of crooks specialized in manipulating ambitious immoral accomplices, such as the Clintons; the displaced from their countries of origin; young people who ignore the rigors of useful work and its benefits, and have been distorted by the siren songs and the stupid in general who do not understand the origin of values and the sense of human riches.
The obstacles that today put to the government of Trump to prevent its agenda related to the will of the patriotic and democratic genesis and its people: They determine the result.
Eliminate criminals and their accomplices, from the spheres of power, judging them by their actions, must be a priority, to choose with transparency officials capable of representing the rights, duties of the sovereign power of the people, temporarily represented by their best children, therefore it is essential to first cleanse the congress and its chambers of the traitors, garbage and well-off of both parties known their votes and the leg for which limps when it does not stand up with dignity ..

You’re damn right I want answers. This is a totally corrupt and unacceptable situation, all while Sessions does nothing or wants to go after marijuana. There is something very wrong here. Build a fire under him, or just fire him.

Why was this outrage for a special council or resignation by despicable men/women not pushed earlier? Senators turning their backs on accusers are finding they are also being called out for their miss deeds. President Trump has been disrespected by both parties for his past. These poppas’ ass politicians are no better and maybe worse than Trumps past actions. People have finally gotten tired of the good o’l boys network. I’m glad to see the cards come tumbling down.

At this point, the choice is whether we (the USA) want to accept that our political elite are immune from the law or not. On one hand, if we investigate (and eventually prosecute) the Clintons for their conduct, it may appear to the outside world that we are prosecuting the looser like a third world country dictator. On the other hand, if we let it slide and go unchallenged, we appear to be affirming a special class of citizen, like a third world country. Personally, I prefer the investigate and prosecute option because it has the best chance of discouraging the “political class” from further expanding their “above the law” behavior.

these people correct to demand answers but why has this not been from the beginning…why wait so long and the Q’s are so numerous that this is BS compared to what really needs to be found out. Either they don’t do the research or their minions don’t do a very good job. Most of the research and demand has been coming from everyday citizens that have been scouring the internet and doing basic every day study of the situation…most of these people ‘politicians’ couldn’t find their ass with both hands. Right now they should look into this from the very beginng…the whole story. I have found myself getting very mad that ‘for instances’ many times the VP had rumors flying about his ‘traitorist’ (if this is even a real word) ways but then looking further you see where this is coming from. I am a believer in the Almighty and it is hard to imagine that VP Pence can be so Faithful and be a ‘traitor’ at the same time…there would be two possible scenarios: either he is a very good actor or he is the ‘REAL’ deal. No matter what the MSM has said and will say I now believe that he too is the victim of the worst possible trashing but he knows God and that makes all the difference in the world. He lives his convictions day in and day out and seems to have all his life. This does not mean he hasn’t made mistakes because humans do but the difference is that he knows and admits and then asks for forgiveness. I have been critical of Mr. Sessions too however, if you look little deeper then the surface I must only hope that he is of the same character. At this time there is a war going on in the intelligence community between the good guys (white hats) and the bad guys (black hats) and this isn’t evident to everyone on the surface. I am still on the fence with Sessions …lean on his side…but I think there is much more that is going on and Mr. Sessions has had to be vague all this time for a reason and it has hurt him. I believe he has put it off for as long as possible but it is in the best interest of the Country that he is playing along with ‘the ART of the deal’ that is in play with very high level MI and others. I believe he too has been made to look like a duff-us all this time and on the hot seat with everyone from the POTUS down to the public. Why? There is a massive intelligence play going on and it is imperative that no one gets wind or it will blow the cover before ALL the ducks are in a row and they DO NOT want the ones being investigated getting even a inkling of their coming arrests. We all know that disclosure of any kind makes witnesses, computers and all very important info disappear that is going to be needed for prosecution to stick and stick once and for all. These are very ‘evil’ people and Hillary just maybe the least of them but this so called ‘cabal’ is coming down and all that are with it so supporting some of these people like Sessions that are starting to take so much heat is important…I believe he will ‘do his job’ and probably has been all along. Sessions has to look like he is not going to do his job so that the main enemy is thinking once again they will skate and it will all go away…not this time it has just got started. This has been in play before Trump but Trump has the balls to be the one to take it down and be put in the forefront. I think history will never forget this…it is all about regaining the control of our Country and setting it back to what it was intended before the ‘dirty’ people got hold of it.

Time to turn the “Spin for Hillary” Department – Back into a Real Justice Department. Tired of American Tax money going to this criminal who flooded a torrent of Government secrets into the world from a not-so-private server, pays to make people ‘go away’, sold OUR Uranium to a long-time adversary, and let our people die in a far off embassy, while turning her back on cries for more security-then ultimately, last ditch cries for help! TIME FOR REAL JUSTICE – for Criminal Hillary!

LCR Broward: Time to Address Mueller’s Lop Sided Trump-Russia Investigation

Ft. Lauderdale – Nov.14, 2017. Last week Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, along with Reps Louie Gohmert and Andy Briggs, introduced a resolution calling for the removal of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller from the Trump-Russia investigation.

Broward Log Cabin Republicans commends the Gaetz’s resolution and calls upon the Florida Republican party and conservatives everywhere to follow suit as it appears that Mueller may be fraught with conflicts of interest due to an apparent long time relationship with James Comey and his alleged ties to the deal regarding sold US uranium to a Russian company. To add insult to injury, American taxpayers are footing the huge bills for Mueller’s push to nullify their vote and choice of a President.

Despite his efforts and cost no evidence has fully surfaced showing, beyond a doubt, that collusion between President Donald Trump and the Russians has been factually proven. Yet every day the evidence mounts for collusion between the Russians and the Clinton machine, but none of it is seemingly being vigorously pursued by Mueller.

Yes I agree Mr Sessions if you ain’t got any balls then step down and let someone that has balls and investigate crooked corrupt Hillary Clinton the liar, The corrupt FBI James Comey the leaker and liar, The crooked corrupt Nazi Muller, also the crooked corrupt Loretta Lynch who is also a liar and leaker, and the lying democratic KKK party.

  • Donald Kilb

Although I agree that as the saying goes “there’s something rotten in Denmark”, in this case the Obama Administration period, demands by Congressmen of the Justice Department can only be branded political and open up a very slippery slope. I want the answers too, but the Justice Department needs to initiate it void of political pressure.

  • Glenn Timberlake

I’ll bet the governor of New Jersey knows how to prosecute and name names. He’s been through the political wringer. He might have the stamina, the will and the desire as well as the ability. The democrats and a lot of republicans wouldn’t want him. And that is a big point in his favor.

  • chuck708

McCain should be included in this Russian Investigation into that Fusion Document. Then throw his AZZ in Jail where he belongs and let die behind bars.
Remember all HIS FELLOW POW’S THAT DIDN’T RETURN BECAUSE OF MCCAIN.
