Liberal Anti-Trump Courts are a Threat to U.S. National Security

Last week, a federal judge in California dealt a temporary death blow to the Trump administration’s goal of depriving sanctuary cities of their federal grant money. In a decision that is as biased as it is baffling, Judge William Orrick ruled in favor of San Francisco and Santa Clara, granting them an injunction against the Justice Department while their respective lawsuits move forward. Orrick determined that President Trump was not allowed to set new conditions on money already approved by Congress, even though these grants are distributed by the executive branch. And, of course, even though these cities are in clear violation of U.S. federal law.

While it’s extremely important for the federal government to respect the rights of states and municipalities, there are two problems with that point of view when it comes to sanctuary cities.

One, they are in gross violation of federal law – and we’re not talking about the baseline law that prohibits illegal immigration. We’re talking about the federal statues that make it a felony to harbor and provide sanctuary for illegal immigrants. These cities are not just saying that they refuse to send their police out to act as federal agents – that would be a permissible act of “states’ rightshood.” Nor are they simply indicating that they will give low priority to the capture and detention of illegal immigrants, as that too would be a permissible plan under the doctrine of prosecutorial discretion. No, these cities are passing laws that PROHIBIT their local officials from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement authorities.

And that brings us to the second point, which is the penalty: Nothing more or less than losing a federal grant that makes up a fraction of a percent of their overall funding! And this judge thinks the Trump administration does not have that authority? C’mon.

This is not the legalization of marijuana we’re talking about here. We’re talking about an issue – illegal immigration – which is a clear and present threat to our national security. By aiding and abetting these migrants, cities like San Francisco and Santa Clara are luring immigrants across the border with a thick, juicy carrot. Come on across, you’ll be perfectly safe as long as you come live in our sanctuary! How is that fair to the residents of neighboring towns? How is that fair to the people who may be killed by these migrants or their traffickers as they make their way into the country? How is that fair to the hundreds of millions of Americans who do not want to see drugs and terrorists come across that border?

These courts are not only off the map when it comes to the law, they are wildly out of line when it comes to their responsibility to the safety and security of our nation. We pray that this issue is resolved correctly when it comes before the Supreme Court, but at some point, we’re going to need to do something about the insane liberal nonsense being spouted from our federal court system. It’s gotten completely out of hand.

You don’t know that Trump’s ban is working? It is the same ban Obama had, on the same countries and Obama had it for 6 months?

You don’t know that Trump is doing all he can to secure the border, which by the way the Bill already signed under Bush and funded? You don’t know that Trump is closing down Sanctuary cities, stopped the DACA program?

            Birmingham,
ALABAMA — Court documents related to Tina Johnson, an Alabama woman who
claims that Republican senatorial candidate Roy Moore groped her in his
office decades ago, may raise questions about Johnson’s motives in
            making the accusation.

            The
documents, reviewed by Breitbart News, show that Moore represented
Johnson’s mother in a nasty custody case for Johnson’s then 12-year-old
son, Daniel Sitz. In the case, Johnson was repeatedly painted by Moore’s
client as an unfit, absent, and unstable mother and was accused of
taking her son from his elementary school against his will. Johnson’s
mother was ultimately awarded custody in the case.

            One
affidavit signed by Johnson’s mother while she was represented by Moore
accused Johnson of having a “violent nature” and noted that she “has
been treated by a psychiatrist when she was approximately 15 years of
age.” Johnson was a teenage mother.

            Separate
criminal documents show that, as late as 2010, Johnson was arrested and
pled guilty to felony fraud charges related to checks belonging to a
family member. She also entered a court drug program.

Speaking to AL.com, Johnson first went public
with the claim that Moore groped her when she was “on legal business
with her mother” in 1991. The website noted that “Johnson reached out to
AL.com” to discuss her alleged experience with Moore.

            The
website related that Johnson was “at the office to sign over custody of
her 12-year-old son to her mother, with whom he’d been living.”

            Johnson
claimed that, after the two met with Moore, her mother walked out of
the office door first and that, as Johnson was walking out, Moore
grabbed her buttocks from behind. “He didn’t pinch it; he grabbed it,”
            she claims.

            Johnson
claims that she was so surprised by Moore’s alleged actions that she
didn’t mention anything to her mother — even though Johnson described
her mother as sitting next to her in Moore’s office just before the
            alleged incident.

            Johnson’s
mother, Mary Katherine Cofield, had hired Moore, then a private
attorney, to represent her in the custody case for Johnson’s son, Daniel
Sitz. The custody documents, filed by Moore, refer to Johnson by her
married name at the time, Tina Sitz.

AL.com reported that it “located the court documents from 1991, detailing the custody transfer.”

            The
website did not report on the nastiness of the soap opera-like custody
case or that Moore’s client filed numerous court documents with
allegations against Johnson. In one affidavit, Cofield stated that
Johnson “has a violent nature and has been treated by a psychiatrist
when she was approximately 15 years of age.”

            Another
document, signed by Moore, stated that Cofield — and not Johnson — was
the “most fit and proper person” to have custody of Daniel Sitz.

            Johnson’s
son had resided with his grandmother, Cofield, since he was nine months
old. Cofield says that, during those years, she provided Daniel with
food, clothing, and shelter “without any assistance” from Johnson. A
judge officially granted Cofield full custody on September 23, 1991.

            In
the custody documents, Johnson is accused of taking her son against his
will. A September 11, 1991, affidavit signed by Daniel says that two
days earlier, Johnson took him from elementary school “against my will
and made me go to her home.”

An affidavit signed by Johnson’s mother claimed that Johnson took Daniel from school “forcefully and without my permission.”

            Immediately
after the school incident, documented by Moore’s office, Cofield was
granted temporary custody of Daniel until the September 23 hearing at
            which she received permanent custody.

Daniel stated that he wants to “live with my grandmother with whom I have lived as long as I can remember.”

            The
AL.com article, meanwhile, mentioned in one sentence in the 18th
paragraph of its story that Johnson “has pled guilty to writing bad
checks, and for third-degree theft of property, which she said stemmed
from family disagreement over the care of her late stepfather.”

            Criminal
and court records reviewed by Breitbart News find that she was arrested
on February 25, 2010, for the felony charge of criminal possession of a
forged instrument and theft by deception. She spent one day in jail and
            was released on bond.

            The
case revolved around the charges of intent to “defraud, possess or
            utter” checks in the amounts of $288, $129.96, $259.92, $300, and $170
respectively. She was also charged with obtaining or exerting
unauthorized control over five checks for $25 each with intent to
“deprive the owner of said property.”

            Those
five checks were in the name of “W.G. Cofield,” ostensibly her late
stepfather. Cofield personally appeared to file charges against Johnson,
            criminal records show.

Johnson claims that Moore groped her in 1991 at his private law practice on Third Street in Gadsden, Alabama.

            Last week, Breitbart News interviewed
Delbra Adams, Moore’s former longtime secretary and judicial assistant.
Adams said that, in her 13 years of working for Moore, she never saw or
experienced any inappropriate conduct toward women.

            Adams
worked for Moore in 1991 at the time of Johnson’s accusations. Adams’s
desk was right outside his office door at the time. Adams’ name was
signed as a notary on one of the custody documents filed in Johnson’s
case on behalf of Johnson’s mother, Cofield.

Numerous attempts to reach Johnson for comment were unsuccessful.

Moore has strenuously denied the numerous accusations against him.

I recommended that you see a physician.
Inappropriate childish behavior is an Alzheimer’s symptom.

          • Retired

Why do you blame your illness on others , better go take your meds .

          • AKLady

            You are blocked … again.

          • Retired

Can NOT handle the truth , eh ???

          • AKLady

Retired the Nursing Home Troll has arrived.

          • Retired

You are off your rocker , people in nursing homes can not afford internet or a phone once the Gov. takes all you have . Your lack of Brain cells keeps showing up , you pickled the few cells with booze .

          • AKLady

Internet and telephones are provided by the nursing home.
Both come with the cost of the room, just like in a hospital.

          • Retired

You talking from experience of living there ??? Medicaid only allows pocket change to buy a stick of gum .

          • AKLady

Where do you come up with this idiocy?

          • Retired

People who have a lot of money hire someone in home and do not go to a nursing home . Evidently you don’t know the daily cost and Medicare only pays for so many days after that it is on your dime until you run out and Medicaid kicks in .You can MOT even have a prepaid funeral under Medicaid .

          • AKLady

Putting money in an irrevocable funeral/burial trust is an exception to the spend-down rule! Prepaying a funeral is a viable option to preserve money.
Assets may also be placed in an irrevocable trust. Medicaid recipients are allowed what is called a “Special Needs Trust”. That trust may pay for medical care and disability equipment not covered by Medicaid.

          • Retired

You forgot how old that trust must be and who has control over it . The Gov. including Democrats want to change that .Plus you have no control over the money once the trust is established. Why do you leave those facts out ????

          • AKLady

            I did not forget anything.
A “Special Needs Trust” can be established at any time, including while an individual is a Medicaid recipient.

          • Retired

As usual you are changing the subject , so in other words you do not have all the facts . Typical Democrat .

          • AKLady

Actually, the problem is your failure to look things up before speaking.
            No subject change involved.
A Special Needs Trust is an irrevocable trust.
There are many types trusts that cannot be revoked,
            i.e., withdrawn or modified.

          • Retired

You brought up the Special needs which is different than Irrevocable trust which has a time limit before you can get Medicaid . Why don’t you get your bs together .

          • AKLady

An irrevocable trust is a trust that cannot be revoked — period.
            They come in many flavors.

          • Retired

You just can NOT admit there is a time limit to get Medicaid can you ???

          • AKLady

You just CANNOT admit there are many legal facts you do not know???

          • Retired

That was not the subject .Like a good Demon rat you twist things up .

          Thomas
          Jefferson on Judicial Tyranny

          “Nothing
in the Constitution has given them [the federal judges] a right to decide
for the Executive, more than to the Executive to decide for them. . . .
The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are
constitutional and what not, not only for themselves, in their own
sphere of action, but for the Legislature and Executive also in their
spheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch.” (Letter to Abigail
          Adams, September 11, 1804)

          “The
original error [was in] establishing a judiciary independent of the nation,
and which, from the citadel of the law, can turn its guns on those they were
meant to defend, and control and fashion their proceedings to its own will.”
(Letter to John Wayles Eppes, 1807)

          “Our
Constitution . . . intending to establish three departments, co-ordinate and
independent that they might check and balance one another, it has
given—according to this opinion to one of them alone the right to prescribe
rules for the government of others; and to that one, too, which is unelected
by and independent of the nation. . . . The Constitution, on this
hypothesis, is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary, which they
may twist and shape into any form they please.” (Letter to Judge Spencer
          Roane, Sept. 6, 1819)

          “You
seem . . . to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all
constitutional questions; a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which
would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy. Our judges are as
honest as other men, and not more so . . . and their power [is] the more
dangerous, as they are in office for life and not responsible, as the other
functionaries are, to the elective control. The Constitution has erected no
such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with
corruptions of time and party, its members would become despots.” (Letter to
          William Jarvis, Sept. 28, 1820)

          “The
judiciary of the United States is the subtle corps of sappers and miners
constantly working under ground to undermine the foundations of our
confederated fabric. They are construing our constitution from a
co-ordination of a general and special government to a general and supreme
one alone. This will lay all things at their feet, and they are too well
versed in English law to forget the maxim, ‘boni judicis est ampliare
jurisdictionem’ [good judges have ample jurisdiction]. . . . A judiciary
independent of a king or executive alone, is a good thing; but independence
of the will of the nation is a solecism, at least in a republican
government.” (Letter to Thomas Ritchie, Dec. 25, 1820)

          “The
germ of dissolution of our federal government is in the constitution of the
federal Judiciary; an irresponsible body (for impeachment is scarcely a
scare-crow) working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little
today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief,
over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped.” (Letter
to Charles Hammond, August 18, 1821)

          “The
great object of my fear is the Federal Judiciary. That body, like
gravity, ever acting with noiseless foot and unalarming advance, gaining
ground step by step and holding what it gains, is engulfing insidiously the
special governments into the jaws of that which feeds them.” (Letter to
          Judge Spencer Roane, 1821)

          “At the
establishment of our constitutions, the judiciary bodies were supposed to be
the most helpless and harmless members of the government. Experience,
          however, soon showed in what way they were to become the most dangerous;
that the insufficiency of the means provided for their removal gave them a
freehold and irresponsibility in office; that their decisions, seeming
to concern individual suitors only, pass silent and unheeded by the public
at large; that these decisions, nevertheless, become law by precedent,
sapping, by little and little, the foundations of the constitution, and
working its change by construction, before any one has perceived that that
invisible and helpless worm has been busily employed in consuming its
substance. In truth, man is not made to be trusted for life if secured
against all liability to account.” (Letter to A. Coray, October 31, 1823)

          “One
single object… [will merit] the endless gratitude of the society: that of
restraining the judges from usurping legislation.” (Letter to Edward
          Livingston, March 25, 1825)

Hey!!! What happened to the elitist destroying the US??
Fascism under any other name is still Fascism!!! You can call it GOP, Republicans, Conservatives, Rightwingers, Teaparty, Deplorables, or Trumpanzees and YOU WILL STILL END UP IN FASCISM!!
The signs are aplenty….. look around… one sign happened just this week!!

      • It is good that you are trying to pay attention.

I said Elite Democrats = Elite Republicans = Elite MEDIA….

From your comment I can tell you are having some trouble with understanding the concept. Based on your apparent bigoted understanding of what a Fascist is, I don’t think you will ever understand what I mean.

Rest assured, others read and comprehend, it really isn’t that difficult a subject when you have an open mind.

        • ernldo

We probably expect too much from mooks like gottabeGay, obvious single digit IQ, chin drooling dullard, on the system, unable to produce anything of value. If the socialists ever do finally win and take over, deviants like him/her will be the first to become food…

          • I don’t have any expectations for gottabot… He is a lost soul, beyond my repair.

I post for anybody that might be reading his trash, so that they might read the truth instead of what evil has to say.

Hillary would have destroyed the US, she wanted to bring 600,000 muslim refugees to the US where they would head straight to the welfare line and create chaos wherever they settle and set up no go zones. Here’s a no go zone in France. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J04Ej1DYO4o

        • gotabgood

          Fourteen Characteristics of Fascism –
You tell me which party these best describe?

          1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

          2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of “need.” The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

          3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

          4. Supremacy of the Military Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

          5. Rampant Sexism The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.

          6. Controlled Mass Media Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

          7. Obsession with National Security Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

          8. Religion and Government are Intertwined Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government’s policies or actions.

          9. Corporate Power is Protected The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

          10. Labor Power is Suppressed Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

          11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.

          12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

          13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

          14. Fraudulent Elections Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

          • mac12sam12

Did you look at the no go zone video? They’re all over Europe, and Hillary wanted to bring those inbreds here. Thank you, President Trump!

    • C. LeSaint

Liberals ARE demon possessed individuals whose goal is to destroy America’s God given rights! Satan’s little brain dead minions have tried to take God out but WE Christian warriors have put on the amour of God, washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ, will win! For ALL demons flee when the name of Jesus Christ is spoken!!

      • I believe you are correct, but as usual there are exceptions and we should always be careful to generalize.
The Left has taken over the Liberal platform. Those people who are truly liberals are being used by the Left. Same goes for Socialists, Democrats, Gays, Womens rights groups, Indivisible America, etc…. The people are simply being mislead and are being foolish.

        • mrpoohead

          What liberal platform, what socialists?

          • The DNC is now the Lefts platform. Bernie is a socialist.

          • mrpoohead

Prove it – equate his policies with a socialist. try UK Labour – then try Liberals. I’d say he’s the latter.

          • mac12sam12

When Hillary and Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz was asked the difference between a democrat and a socialist, neither could come up with an answer. The problem with the democrat party’s move to the left is that they are losing voters. One day Hillary will wake up a full blown commie.

          • mrpoohead

            Link? Big difference or substantiate.

          • mac12sam12
          • mrpoohead

Hardly, it cuts out before she’s allowed to answer, Simply; Democrats are centre to centre-right, socialists are centre-left. Bernie equates to centre.
All you need to do is cross-reference their policies with other countries – Bernie is a UK Liberal and Democrats are Conservatives/Tories, no one is close to UK Labour – not rocket science.
If you can refute that then please provide reputable reference not some silly video clip.

          • mac12sam12

You’re losing voters because your party is moving LEFT .The silly videos were in their own words.

          • mrpoohead

Again, I have no party. Democrats are conservatives with social responsibility – liberals at most.

Don’t know why you sent me the link – economy is up the creek and likely to be there for 50 years, no one is going to change that. I am promoting nobody. And I’m still not a Democrat.

          • mac12sam12

You may be a democrat, but there isn’t much if any difference between them. Hillary was offering high taxes to pay for her free stuff.

President has no control over taxation – liar! Trump – wall, ban – liar!

    “Nothing

for the Executive, more than to the Executive to decide for them. . . .
The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are

    Adams, September 11, 1804)

    “The
original error [was in] establishing a judiciary independent of the nation,
and which, from the citadel of the law, can turn its guns on those they were
meant to defend, and control and fashion their proceedings to its own will.”
(Letter to John Wayles Eppes, 1807)

    “Our
Constitution . . . intending to establish three departments, co-ordinate and
independent that they might check and balance one another, it has
given—according to this opinion to one of them alone the right to prescribe
rules for the government of others; and to that one, too, which is unelected

    “You

constitutional questions; a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which
would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.

    “The

federal Judiciary; an irresponsible body (for impeachment is scarcely a
scare-crow) working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little
today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief,
over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped.” (Letter
to Charles Hammond, August 18, 1821)

    “The
great object of my fear is the Federal Judiciary.

Experience,
    however, soon showed in what way they were to become the most dangerous;
that the insufficiency of the means provided for their removal gave them a
freehold and irresponsibility in office; that their decisions, seeming
to concern individual suitors only, pass silent and unheeded by the public
at large; that these decisions, nevertheless, become law by precedent,
sapping, by little and little, the foundations of the constitution, and
working its change by construction, before any one has perceived that that
invisible and helpless worm has been busily employed in consuming its
substance. In truth, man is not made to be trusted for life if secured
against all liability to account.” (Letter to A. Coray, October 31, 1823)

    • John Green

Hi TIGE, smart stuff there what do you think we should do about Roy Moore??

      • Tiger

Hi John thank you. I am not convinced these women are for real. Too many years in between. He has been in politics for years, they had plenty of time to do this during those years and if they say they were afraid to do so then, why are they not afraid now?

I believe he is innocent til proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt he is guilty. It will be the responsibility of every voter to look into these cases. Make their own decisions. The one woman won’t release her Yearbook for analysis of the handwriting and dating of the ink. That raises a flag. Then another woman has a reputation of suing men for sexual assault or misconduct.

        • Retired

All part of a ploy to get rid of politicians for control of Congress . That was proven again today by Pelosi and Schumer .

        • Michael Dennewitz

Tiger: I think the whole thing stinks of geo soreass!😣

          • Tiger

If indeed these women were telling the truth, there would be no resistance to any examination of anything. But they are resisting any complete investigation to prove what they are saying.

Anyway with all the Democrats being seen daily now, across the country and in congress for “Grabbing and Gropping”, now including Matt Lauer for “Grabbing and Groping” they really are having problems with “Credibility”.

        • see my response to John as well.

          • Tiger

Oh hey my friend just found this, again Trump is cleared and a bunch of ado about nothing.

“In a September interview with Sky News, Debbie “White Dove” Porreco
said that Trump once asked her if it offended her that he used the name
“Pocahontas” to refer to the Democratic senator. “I know that he uses
‘Pocahontas’ sometimes with Elizabeth Warren,” Porreco explained. “He
said, ‘well does that offend you when I use that?’ And I told him no, it
doesn’t offend me.”“If Pocahontas were alive today, she would be very
proud of President Trump,” Porreco said. “Just like Pocahontas was a
heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero.”

Hi RETIRED (soon for me too(

It DOES NOT MATTER if they believe us or not. We only have a couple of weeks and IT IS DONE.

I intend to vote in Alabama. EVERYONE else here should too.

          • Retired

When you vote take some elderly with in your neighbor hood or from your church and any organization you belong to .

          • John Green

WOULD you like a ride? I will be DRIVING down from Cedar Falls on the Monday PRIOR.

          • jimmy midnight

THIS, from someone who likely thinks 3 to 5 million “illegals” voted last year. Aren’t U admitting that, though not a resident of AL, U plan 2 vote in their election a week from next Tuesday?

Isn’t Cedar Falls in ID, or MT? Do U get 2 vote in multiple states because you’re a white right-winger? It’s obvious that U think U should.

          • I agree with you Jimmy. Right up to the right winger stuff. That is kind of silly.

          • jimmy midnight

Pretty sure I heard that registration rolls 4 this AL special election closed about a week ago, anyway.

Oh! And Cedar Falls is in MO.

          • Hard to tell what the guy is thinking…. Perhaps he is an Alabama resident, vacationing in Cedar Falls…

          • jimmy midnight

My bad! I guess I had Missouri on the brain yesterday, while 45 was speaking there. Cedar Falls is in Iowa.

As 4 telling what our mutual friend is thinking…I bet there R a lot of Americans who have property in multiple jurisdictions, and also regularly vote in same. Such a thing would B almost impossible 2 catch.

And VERY unlikely 2 make 4 differing electoral outcomes.

          • This is an Alabama resident decision. You do live in Alabama right?

        • Rob D

It’s all BS from the DemoScum. 40 years ago and now it’s a problem? Conveniently at election time?

          • Retired

Don’t forget about the history of the women power struggle since the early 1900 . then again in the 60s and 70s . then it Started again in the early 2000s . Right now we are seeing it in the media ,get rid of the men so women can replace them . Why does each of the sexes have to think that they need to be superior ?????

          • bttrap

            it’s called dirty politics

        • jimmy midnight

“innocent until proven guilty,” is a due process right. If certain funds R 2 B denied 2 municipalities and states, it can only B done in the wake of judicial decisions, not with an arbitrary order. That also constitutes due process.

In the interim, status quo must prevail—for better or “worser.”

          • Norman

Federal grants to municipalities and states are optional and do not require due process through the courts.

      • ernldo

        Elect him.

      • I think we need to watch him, and make sure he is true to his word.

We can no longer assume our politicians are doing what they promised, we must hold their actions accountable.

There is no such thing as set and forget when it comes to politicians anymore.

Another thing, this whole Roy Moore story is part of the Left trying to manipulate votes. Is there any doubt in your mind that the Establishment didn’t know about this during the primaries? Why didn’t they expose Moore then?

They didn’t expose the information before Moore locked up the nomination because the Establishment wanted their preferred lackey Republican puppet to win.

The only reason the MEDIA reported the Moore information is because the Establishment candidate lost.

The Establishment’s preference in this seat would be:
#1 Republican RINO Puppet, (a spy so to speak)
        #2 Democrat

The last person would be someone like Moore whom they do not control.

Elite D’s = Elite R’s = Elite MEDIA = the Left. The ELITES are all Big Government communists. They THOUGHT releasing this information would disqualify Moore. That is the story behind the timing.

Now the Elite MEDIA will paint the election as a close one, and the Elites (whom count the votes) will attempt to rig the election and put the Democrat in place.

        Stop MEDIA BIAS NOW. http://www.madashellboycott.com

Trump is an erratic threat to our national security. The courts are doing their constitutional job of applying our founding principles to the operation of government now. If immigration was important to the establishment of this nation in the late 18th Century, it is important now just as the 2nd Amendment was important then and now.

Your lack of rational thought on this subject and your forum to indoctrinate your sheeple are a threat to our democracy. As for national security, the single biggest threat we face today is sitting his fat, white, ass in the Oval Office…when he’s not golfing. Trump is more of a threat than any court in the land. And his stupidity and naivete are on the same level with Kim Jung Un. Orange and Un threaten our security equally.

There may be some argument that Congress must specify withholding funds to the states that don’t comply. Also, minimal documented proof of non-compliance may be required. What concerns me most is that some of these district courts are entering areas of a non-justiciable nature especially in regards to limiting immigration and determining what standards the military can apply in recruiting and retaining its members. Unless there are specific proscriptions in statutes, the judiciary has no right to poke its nose into those areas. It is not within the province of the courts to weigh the wisdom or efficacy of any policies of the President or statutes enacted by Congress. They can only legitimately weigh whether the Presidents policies or orders comply with existing statutes and the Constitution – that’s it. This judicial wandering has been going on for 50 years and its time for it to leave Sinai and find the land promised by the founders.

  • justanagent

California seems to be the epicenter for all this insanity. California keeps on talking about seceding but never actually does it. Is there some way to “excommunicate” California? They would be getting what they say they want and the rest of the country would no longer have to put up with their foolishness.

Out of Hand! It’s worse than that! Where are the voices of the citizens of these cities?? And it’s not only the city residents who are effected – AND ENDANGERED – by illegal “immigrants”, it is ALL OF US!!

Prosecute the lawless judges! Replace Sessions and get another AG to do it, since Sessions is asleep at the wheel. James Kallstrom would be great for AG. Also, initiate disciplinary proceedings to disbar these lawless judges, for violating their Oath to uphold the US Constitution and other federal law and for jeopardizing the safety of the American People in the name of their dangerous ideology.

Of course a Judge { some one that upholds laws } rules to let city’s that protect Criminals that sneak into the country off with no punishment .

It’s good that this site is concerned about “clear and present threat to our national security”. Now if they could follow up that concern by focusing on the attack on our election by a hostile foreign power. Unlike the illegal immigrants who come here to work, the Russians don’t contribute to our country and don’t pay taxes. In fact they are truly trying to weaken our country. So far Trump has been “aiding and abetting” Putin to do it again.

    • bttrap

How did the Russians lose the election for Hillary? No democrat has ever answered this.

The illegals don’t come here to work, they come here for the free stuff offered by the democrats. https://www.liberalforum.org/topic/206366-sanctuary-cities-received-27-billion-1-in-5-in-los-angeles-are/

Let me fill you in, Captain Zippy. Putin does not like Trump. Trump signed Keystone to insure lower prices and the Russian economy is suffering because of it. Trump launched 69 missiles into their ally’s country, Syria and Trump didn’t ask for Putin’s blessing he told him to stay put of the way.

I’ll ask one more time, how did the Russians lose the election for Hillary? I’ll wait for an answer.

    • Norman

It was NOT Donald Trump who presented a “RESET” button as an offer of US capitulation to Russia – that was hilLIARy.

      • W. Coyote

Norman- Good afternoon and thank you for your reply. What does “RESET” mean to you? How was it “capitulation to Russia”?

    • mac12sam12

How did the Russians lose the election for Hillary? I’m waiting!

      • W. Coyote

mac12sam12- Good afternoon and thank you for your reply. You ask a fair question. At this point, I don’t think we have conclusive evidence that the efforts of the Russians alone was the deciding factor. However, I think we will learn more when the final reports from the Congressional investigations and the Mueller investigation is complete. Also, I am certain there are political scientists who are right now doing detailed research into that question.
What we do know is that Putin was furious with Hillary because she questioned the legitimacy of his election (2014, I think). One source I read speculated that Putin, like almost everyone else, thought Hillary was going to win, but was showing he could mess with her.
We do know that Putin watched the end of the Soviet Union while stationed in East Germany. He is now in the process of trying to make Russia great again. He is trying to undermine Western democracy and sow doubts into our system, thereby making us weaker.
We do know the Wikileaks hacks were provided by the Russians We know that there is group of “trolls” who are fluent in English, stationed in St. Petersburg who generated a lot of “fake news” stories that went to swing states.( the spread of “pizzagate” was partially the work of the Russians) We know the election systems in 39 states were hacked and voter information was accessed. All of this amounts to an attack on our election. Trump’s question “Were there any Russians in the voting booth?” is a nonsensical answer to this attack. It’s also a very weak response. Here’s an analogy- Suppose N. Korea launched a missile aiming to destroy Seattle. Further suppose that the guidance system was off by 0.001% and the missile fell harmlessly into the Pacific Ocean off the coast. Would Trump similarly say “Well, the missile didn’t kill anybody, so we don’t have to worry”?
And after all this, for some reason, Trump has nothing but nice things to say about Putin and has refused to protect us from future attacks. Do you have any ideas about why? I think we should all (Democrats, Republicans, Independents and everyone in between should be very concerned about this. Trump should also keep something in mind. This time, it was against Hillary. If he makes a wrong move with Putin, next time it could be against him.

        • mac12sam12

Nutshell, Hillary lost because she didn’t land in flyover country like Trump did and instead landed in Beverly Hills and was photographed with movie stars and famous singers. Think people can relate to that? She had no message for the middle class, and just to begin with wanted to bring in 500,000 muslim refugees to flood our welfare system. Europe has had thousands of attack and deaths from their refugees. Trump has nothing to do with Putin except partnering with Russia to take ISIS out of Syria.

          • W. Coyote

Good morning- Well, I agree with you to an extent. There were some problems in the way Hillary’s campaign was run. However, the election really came down to 3 swing states- Penn., Wisconsin, and Michigan. If about 50,000 people in those states had changed their mind, Hillary would have won. It was a razor thin victory for Trump. Of course, those were the states that were targeted by the Russians.
Of course, Hillary was also hampered by a multi-year effort by Republicans to bring her poll numbers down. The Benghazi hearings were designed to do just that. Also false stories about Muslim refugees, “Pizzagate”, etc.
Speaking of how “people can relate to that?:, do you have any thoughts on how a New York elitist could convince those 50,000 people ( who he regards as losers) to vote for him?

          • mac12sam12

I was nodding in agreement until you said the states that the Russians targeted. You actually believe that the Russians had a hand in Clinton’s election loss? They didn’t.

The republicans tried to get her poll numbers down? 90% of the media has a liberal bias and they were on Hillary’s side. It’s her history that kept her numbers down because everyone knows she’s corrupt. And there was just as many fake news stories about Trump.

Who said that Trump called 50,000 people losers? Before the presidency Trump was called the blue caller billionaire because he spent so much time talking to the workers and many of those workers became executives in his organization. Now that he’s president with an R after his name he’s attacked and most of the time it’s unfairly.

          • W. Coyote

Good morning- As I said at the beginning, it’s too early to tell if the Russian meddling alone accounted for Hillary’s loss. At no point, have I claimed that it did. However, when you look at the actual election results, there were about 13,100,000 votes cast in the 3 states I mentioned. 50,000 votes represents 0.3% of the votes. That’s a very small number of people for the results to hinge on. Russians targeted those 3 states and other swing states with fake news.
Of course there were other factors as well. James Comey announced he was going to reopen the investigation of the email issue just a few days before the election.
I never said Trump has called those particular 50,000 voters as losers. Trump divides the world into winners and losers. If you are rich or powerful, you are winner. Trump very skillfully made a whole series of promises and delivered entertaining insults which inspired a lot of people that he otherwise would never associate with.

          • mac12sam12

Here’s what accounted for Hillary’s loss and the Russians had nothing to do with it. Forgive me for repeating myself but the reason Hillary lost was because she had no message to the middle class which was destroyed by the previous administration. She was always photographed with movie stars and famous singers. Trump held rallies everyday while Hillary would hold them every two or three days because she didn’t have the energy to do them everyday. Trump held rallies in flyover country and Hillary didn’t. Everyone also knew that she was owned by special interests and Wall Street, Remember when Bernie asked her to show her Wall Street speech transcripts? She didn’t produce them.

There was actually more fake news about Trump than there was about Hillary as well.

Trump did make a series of promises and is keeping them. The tax bill that was passed will put the next GDP to 4%+. He removed 840 business regulations which also stimulated the economy. He’s doing great and in every sense things are better. The BLS website proves that.

          • W. Coyote

A “district” Feral Judge (another lawyer in a dirty black robe) should only be able to rule on the case in front of him for his/her “district”. Same for Appellate Courts only ruling for their area of several states, and only the Soopreme court ruling for the entire USA.
Now even saying this is an abomination as the Constitution Never made the Soopreme Court an “arbiter” or “interpreter” of the Constitution. “Case Law” is Unconstitutional. Each Soopreme court decision was originally meant only to apply to the case in front of them. The original Constitution was to be applied to each case, not a string of Soopreme decisions becoming a defacto constitution.

Liberal judges are part of the holdovers from Bozo’s time and they are definitely a threat to the legal citizens of this country. Time to bounce them out of their seats in the judicial process. Impeach, change the law regarding their terms they can serve and what they can be removed for. Out of the bench and out the door of this country if it could be arranged. Ship em where they think life would suit them but preferably not in the US. We are sick of these law making judges!

  • Cynthia Thinker

ONE LONE LIBERAL JUDGE will NOT PREVAIL!!!!! We the People will continue to fight for our rights above illegal alien’s rights!

  • Well, the tqx laws and budgets are now before the legislators. Let’s hope they will do something smart.

    WHAT IF THEY LEFT
    Considering
the Denver Post is a very liberal paper I’m surprised they published
this. This really shows how the hiring of illegals is false economic
    practice.

    Tina
Griego is a Free-Lance reporter for the Denver Post. She writes some
really good stuff and she is a strong advocate for LEGAL immigration
Homework on issues is part of her make-up and fabric …

    What if they left?

    Somebody
really did their homework on this one. Best on the subject to date.
It does not have a political slant to it, it’s just the facts: Not
Democratic, not Republican, not liberal and not conservative.

What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America?
I, Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, “Mexican Visitor’s Lament.”
    I
interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting
Denver last week. Hernandez said, “Illegal aliens pay rent, buy
groceries, buy clothes. What happens to your country’s economy if 20
    million people go away?”
Hmmm, I thought, what would happen?

So I did my due diligence, buried my nose as a reporter into the FACTS I found below.

    It’s
a good question… it deserves an honest answer. Over 80% of Americans
demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would
happen if all 20 million or more vacated America? The answers I found
    may surprise you!

    In
California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it
would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school
systems, bankrupt hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave
highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand
one another as English became the dominant language again.

    In
Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and
grandchildren would move back “home,” mostly to Mexico. That would save
Colorado an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 billion) annually
in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and
    incarceration costs.

It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.
    Colorado
would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that
those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don
Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death,
accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

    Denver
Public Schools would not suffer a 67% dropout/flunk rate because of
thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At
least200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in
Colorado. Denver’s 4% unemployment rate would vanish as our working
poor would gain jobs at a living wage.

In Florida, 1.5 million illegals would return the Sunshine State back to America, the rule of law, and English.

    In
Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals,
schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free
    experience.

    If
20 million illegal aliens returned ‘home,’ the U.S. economy would
return to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens
at a living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because
they wouldn’t be working off the books. That would result in an
additional $401 billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an
equal amount for local, state and city coffers.

    No
more push ‘1’ for Spanish or ‘2’ for English. No more confusion in
American schools that now must contend with over 100 languages that
degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded
schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of
billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

    We
would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more
than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who
distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country.

    In
cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the ‘ 18th Street Gang’ would
vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from
Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!

    Losing
more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and
gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by
    illegal aliens!

    America’s
economy is drained. Taxpayers are harmed. Employers get rich. Over
$80 billion annually wouldn’t return to the aliens’ home countries by
cash transfers. Illegal migrants earned half that money untaxed, which
further drains America’s economy which currently suffers a $20 trillion
    debt. $20 trillion debt!!!

    At
least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing
us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in
California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of
being bankrupt out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the
    EMTOLA Act.

    Americans
wouldn’t suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our
country – brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.
    Our
cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and grid
locking our cities. It would also put the ‘progressives’ on the horns
of a dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11% of our
    greenhouse gases.

    Over
one million of Mexico’s poorest citizens now live inside and along our
border from Brownsville, Texas, to San Diego, California, in what the
New York Times called, ‘colonias’ or new neighborhoods. Trouble is,
those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty,
filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live
without sewage, clean water, streets, roads, electricity, or any kind of
    sanitation.

    The
New York Times reported them to be America’s new ‘ Third World ‘ inside
our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they
expect 20 million residents of those colonias. (I’ve seen them
personally in Texas and Arizona; it’s sickening beyond anything you can
    imagine.)

    By
enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico. We should
invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or
make a better life in Mexico. We already invite a million people into
our country legally annually, more than all other countries combined.
We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within
our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.

It’s time to stand up for our country, our culture, our civilization and our way of life. Interesting Statistics!

    Here
are 14 reasons illegal aliens should vacate America, and I hope they
are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that
the reader gets sick of reading them:

    1. $14 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare to illegal aliens (that’s Billion with a ‘B’)

    3. $7.5 billion dollars are spent each year on Medicaid for illegal aliens.

    4.
$12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary school
education for children here illegally and they still cannot speak a
    word of English

    5.
$27 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the
American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

    6. $3 Million Dollars ‘PER DAY’ is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. That’s $1.2 Billion a year.

    7. 28% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens.

    8. $190 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.

    9. $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

    10.
The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two
and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their
children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.

    11.
During the year 2005, there were 8 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that
crossed our southern border with as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from
other terrorist countries. Over 10,000 of those were middle-eastern
terrorists. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin, crack,
guns, and marijuana crossed into the U.S. from the southern border.

    12.
The National Policy Institute, estimates that the total cost of mass
deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion, or an average cost
of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.
    13.
In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $65 BILLION in remittances back to
their countries of origin, to their families and friends.

    14.
The dark side of illegal immigration: Nearly one million sex crimes
are committed by illegal immigrants in the United States! Total cost a whopping $538.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!

What makes us think that the corruption is only among the liberal members of Congress?! Much of the court system has become a liberal swamp as well! May these liberal lawmakers in Washington as well as those who have fouled our justice system in America be judged severely by the God Who they deny by their actions! Incredibly sad!

  • Dave Fischer

These judges are brain dead, they sit on their brains instead of the bench…….they seem to go against everything our president is trying to do to make our country better, and to protect our country ….who the hell appoints these useless assholes? Maybe they should work together in the best interest of our country……and stand by our president, instead in impeding everything he tries to do…..

    • Norman

Many of those @$$holes were appointed by obama.

  • elmcqueen3

We can blame all this on Barack Obama and the Democrats for their “political correctness”…Obama and his administration have put a hex on this country known as the deep state…which has now become a cancer spreading across this nation…The Democrats are foul low life persons uncaring of anything that is not of their doing.

  • nick evans

The assumption is: ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are criminals. This is not true. If you know of a criminal who is also an immigrant (legal or illegal) notify ICE – they can get a warrant and arrest the criminal. The Sanctuary Cities are protecting the immigrants who are not criminals – not criminals. Some U.S. citizens are criminals – are all U.S. citizens criminals?

    • Norman

ILLEGAL ALIENS are criminals because they violated immigration laws.

Sanctuary cities protect ILLEGAL ALIENS not legal immigrants.

      • nick evans

Some may be grandmothers and some parents of children born in the U.S. Do we really want ICE to hunt them down and deport them for the ‘technical’ crime of ‘immigration status’. True criminals should be deported. Ordinary people come in hope of a better life are not Criminals, even if they have violated immigration laws. Deporting a grandmother (who may not have a place to go in the home country) is a greater crime that the grandmothers ‘illegal immigration status’. All of us ‘whites’ in the U.S. are the descendants of immigrants. Is humane treatment of ‘all people’ not as American as apple pie? I always thought it was.

        • Norman

ILLEGAL ALIENS are NOT the same as LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, dummy.

Grandmothers and parents wanting to immigrate to the US should follow the laws and immigrate LEGALLY.

My wife is a LEGAL immigrant to the US. She she filled about 15 pages of application forms over 6 years and paid a total of about $450 in processing fees. I helped her to complete the final application forms, submit documents, and study for her citizenship test. It really was NOT difficult. Now she is a US citizen. Do NOT try to convince me that ILLEGAL ALIENS are the same as LEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Why do ILLEGAL ALIENS pay $2000 to $6000 to be ILLEGALLY smuggled into the USA and risk being deported when for a few hundred dollars they can immigrate to the USA LEGALLY? Heck, the US embassy in their home countries will even provide FREE application forms in their own language.

Also, my ancestor who brought my last name to the USA immigrated LEGALLY in 1910.

          • nick evans

Most ‘illegal aliens’ are technically ‘illegal’ but not CRIMINAL. They are here for the same reasons our ancestors came here. All people should be treated humanely. Technically ‘illegal’ people should not be lumped with ‘criminals’ (murderers, armed robbers, etc.) If ICE knows of ‘criminals’ all they need to do to deport them (or jail them) is to present the city where the criminals are with a warrant for arrest. Many such criminals were deported during the Obama years – more than under any other President.

          • Norman

Back to my original reply to you: ILLEGAL ALIENS are criminals because they VIOLATED immigration LAWS.

Sanctuary cities protect ILLEGAL ALIENS NOT legal immigrants.

All people, including ILLEGAL ALIENS, are treated humanely in the USA. In fact, Garcia Zarate was HUMANELY deported 5 times before he returned to INHUMANELY shoot Kate Steinle.

If you believe ILLEGAL ALIENS should be treated humanely, you should HUMANELY invite ILLEGAL ALIENS to live in your home.

Sanctuary city San Francisco released previously convicted (6 times) felon Garcia Zarate 3 months before he shot Kate Steinle despite requests by federal immigration authorities to detain him for deportation? (Garcia may have been found “not guilty” of murder but that does not prevent the Steinle family filing a civil lawsuit against San Francisco.)

Many ILLEGAL ALIENS were deported during the obama years because so many more ILLEGAL ALIENS invaded the USA during the obama years because of obama’s promises of amnesty for ILLEGAL ALIENS.

          • nick evans

I go back to my initial point. ALL IMMIGRANTS (Legal or Illegal) are NOT CRIMINALS. Sanctuary cities will hand over criminals – all ICE needs to do is present the city with a warrant for arrest. It is the assumption that ALL IMMIGRANTS are criminals that I take issue with.

          • Norman

Get your head out of your ASS, dimwit.

I nor any else EVER said ALL IMMIGRANTS are criminals. We say ILLEGAL ALIENS are criminals because they violated immigration laws.

ILLEGAL ALIENS are criminals. LEGAL IMMIGRANTS are NOT criminals just because they are immigrants.

I take issue with YOU equating ILLEGAL ALIENS who violated immigration laws with LEGAL IMMIGRANTS (like my wife) who complied with immigration laws.

Some of these judges should be hit with their own hammer; repeatedly it may knock some sense into them. The Trump Administration needs to completely ignore this idiot judge and carry on with their agenda. A decision that is detrimental to our security is null and void. • DAlnB41

Liberal party leaders are pushing the liberal courts decisions. We no longer have honest judges on the bench as they are too deeply influenced by political party leaders. Allowing the five time looser illegal immigrant to be tried in a court in California was absurd; that court was prejudiced with influence from the legal and political attitudes of California – not by the broader American people and jurisprudence.
