Tucker Slams AOC: “One of the Country’s Most Privileged Revolutionaries”

On Monday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson apparently reached the absolute limit of what he could take from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the socialist congresswoman who said last week that New York’s skyrocketing violent crime rates were caused by “unemployed” families who needed bread to feed their families. Not long after, AOC (amazingly) outdid even that absurd theory when asked what our cities would look like if we got rid of the police altogether. Her idea: That a place like New York City would magically look “like a suburb” if we eliminated the cops.

“Here’s something you probably didn’t know,” Carlson said. “Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the voice of the street, actually grew up in an idyllic town 45 miles north of New York City. It’s called Yorktown Heights. You never know it from listening to her recent race-baiting but the population of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s home is over 90 percent white.

“It’s not Queens,” Carlson continued. “It’s a nice place. Yorktown Heights is so affluent and so peaceful, in fact, it doesn’t need its own police department. Instead, it relies on the 59-man force that protects the larger town around it. This is the hood that spawned Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the country’s most privileged revolutionaries.”

Carlson said the woman posing as a freedom fighter on Capitol Hill these days had come a long way from her pampered beginnings.

“She called herself Sandy Cortez back then,” he noted. “She imagined that every place could be just like Yorktown Heights if only we got rid of the police. Apparently, she still believes that.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who has released more hot air into the atmosphere over the last two years than the least efficient coal factory in the world, said this week that Americans have no reason to fear a world without police.

“When people ask me, ‘What does a world where we defund the police look like?’, I tell them it looks like a suburb,” she said in a Zoom presentation.

“It looks like a suburb,” Carlson echoed in disbelief.  “Unfortunately not everyone lives in a suburb as placid and protected the one Sandy Cortez grew up in. We know very well how it will end. More poor children will die. It will not affect Bill de Blasio, though. His family will remain protected by armed security paid for by taxpayers. So will Sandy Cortez. So will Barack Obama. So will the rest of the politicians calling for taking away our protection. They will never suffer the consequences. That’s why they are for it.”

Indeed. This is also why they are all in favor of scrapping the Second Amendment. Also why they’re willing to throw the doors open to any Muslim refugee who wants to come to America. Also why they want to open the border with Mexico. They don’t have the slightest reason to be concerned about the consequences because they will be perfectly sheltered from them.
