AOC Tries, Fails in New Career

Since she entered the House as a Democrat congresswoman from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has been making people laugh at her wild and weird antics. Her attempts to be a video blogger have earned her good laughs before. Now comes her documentary To The End that had such a pathetic opening at the box office, it may have seen to its own end already.

Released on Friday (December 9), To The End features AOC and a few other liberal women as climate warriors who – as per the movie’s description – are up to “fight for a Green New Deal, and ignite a historic shift in U.S. climate politics.” Despite running in 120 theatres across the country, the opening weekend earnings of the film amounted to only $9,667 with an average earning of $80 per theatre.

The Daily Wire declared the AOC-featuring documentary a “box office bomb” with a “dismal opening weekend” and commented:

And if movie theaters are paying attention to ticket sales, they’ll realize it’s already run to the end.

The Washington Examiner wrote that AOC’s climate change documentary has bombed at the box office despite leftist pandering. Pointing to the leftist media praising the film and “professional critics” giving it a rating of over 80%, the story commented:

All the praise in the world could not force moviegoers to see the film.

As expected, Twitter was on fire this week with conservatives trolling AOC to the last penny of her documentary’s earning. Bob Wilkonson suggested AOC could have earned more money that weekend doing Door Dash.

Another tweet posted a meme with Al Gore captioned “Scientists Report: The North Pole Is Still Cold” and asked what he thinks of AOC’s movie.

A MAGA conservative tweeted: “Filmmakers and politicians need to realize that people really don’t want to go to movie theaters to be lectured on woke BS.”

Fox News commentator Jesse Waters mocked the dismal earnings of the new AOC’s documentary saying he spends as much on popcorn when he goes to the theatre to see a movie.

At the time of this writing, the IMDb page of To The End shows it is rated R due to language and having “Frightening & Intense Scenes” while the movie’s rating stands at only 1.5 out of 10 after more than 900 reviews. To The End is director Rachel Lears’ second documentary featuring AOC; the previous one titled Knock Down the House was released in early 2019 and failed to get any significant audience attention.
