God save us from male feminists like Riley Roberts. In an Instagram Live video on Friday night, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shared the internet stage with her white beta boyfriend, who looks like he could be James Hetfield’s gay brother.
Roberts, a pale redhead with the physique of a soft eel, proceeded to explain to his girlfriend’s followers how they could be less racist if they really wanted to. We’re sure anyone already inclined to watch AOC’s Instagram feed was all-too-pleased to sit through this lecture. There’s nothing like spending your Friday night having a few Cosmos and checking your white privilege.
“I think it’s helpful and important to talk to other white people about racism, and I think a lot of people, they don’t want to be racist,” Roberts said, with his leash-holder sitting beside him. “They don’t think that they’re racist, but they also don’t know some of the things they believe or say are and can be racist.
“One of the effective ways is just to talk and kind of help teach them about why some of the things they believe or say or think are wrong — not necessarily racist — but that they’re wrong and that will sort of chip away and contribute to some development in this area but not necessarily take somebody from being a racist to not being a racist in one conversation,” he continued.
That’s a great way to destroy your friendships! Hey, Bill, you mind coming over so I can calmly teach you why all of your opinions and beliefs are wrong? No? Oh, come on man, I don’t mean that you’re a racist…just wrong, that’s all. A lot of the stuff you said last week was bad, see? Right. Uh-huh. Oh, you’re busy? Next week, too, huh? Oh. Okay.
“Am I the only one rooting for the Apocalypse?” one Twitter user posted in response to the video.
“She is so great at that,” said another. “I didn’t even see her lips move.”
We’re all for white people being anti-racist, but there’s a difference between being against racism and being an actual “anti-racist” the way the term is used by the SJW left. That kind of anti-racism – the kind that Riley Roberts is demonstrating – is pretty much on par with intersectional feminism. It’s Marxism under another name, and it should be mocked and scorned wherever it’s found.
Roberts seems like the kind of fool who would bicycle through ISIS territory just to prove a point. Maybe, if he asks really nicely, his girlfriend/mommy will let him.
