(FixThisNation.com) – Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Rubio and Chairman Warner sent Biden admin officials a letter pushing for “immediate compliance” in providing them with access to the classified documents that were found at Biden’s home in Delaware and former office in Washington and seized from Trump’s estate in Mar-a-Lago.

The letter was sent on Thursday and was directed to Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence, and AG Garland. The Senators in their letter dismissed the Department of Justice previous justification that due to the ongoing investigation, they were unable to provide access to the documents, as sharing additional information could compromise the probe. Rubio and Warner have maintained that they want access so that they can review the seized classified documents and they want a full risk assessment to national security if the documents had fallen into the hands of foreign adversaries.

In their letter, they also point out that the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has the right to oversee counterintelligence matters. They further point out that it is within their responsibilities and abilities to handle classified documents and information in order to effectively oversee what potential national security exists if information had been previously mishandled.

This is not the first letter to be sent out. Previously they had sent a letter in August requesting access to the Mar-a-Lago classified documents and in January requesting access to the Biden classified documents. This is something they note in the new letter.
