(FixThisNation.com) – A betting company currently shows that the betting odds are against President Biden winning his reelection campaign in 2024.
Biden’s reelection campaign has been a topic of a lot of debate as many Democrats had previously noted that they would like to see someone else be the presidential nominee. This in part has been driven by Biden’s age which has led to a lot of criticisms and questions about his capabilities as President.
The pressure against Biden is now increasing further as a special counsel has been appointed to investigate the case of the three batches of classified documents from the Obama-Biden era that were found in three separate locations. The first batch was found in Biden’s previous office, the Penn Biden Center think tank in Washington D.C., while two more batches were found in two separate locations in his Delaware home.
According to the new betting odds, after the Special counsel was appointed to the case, Biden’s chances of winning his reelection campaign fell from 14/5 on January 11, to 10/3 on January 13. The betting chances are calculated by U.K. bookmakers Betfair Exchange.
While the documents were first found on November 2, less than a week before the midterm election, at the Penn Biden center, the White House only confirmed their existence last Monday.
It was only after the discovery of the other two batches that Attorney General Merrick Garland decided to appoint attorney Robert Hur as special counsel. Hur will now be investigating how the documents had been handled and determining whether any laws had been broken in the handling process.
