The dam has finally broken. Weeks and weeks after Paul Sperry of the Washington Examiner named the Ukraine whistleblower, the Democrats’ phony firewall is coming apart. First, Rep. Louie Gohmert named CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella as one of the witnesses he wanted to call before the House Judiciary Committee for testimony. This drew intense outrage from the Democrats, despite the fact that Gohmert never identified Ciaramella as the whistleblower. Funny how the Democrats would get so angry about Ciaramella’s name when they claim to not know who the whistleblower is, eh?
Well, Gohmert’s courage apparently struck a chord inside the editorial offices of The New York Post. On Friday, in an editorial, the Post became the most high-profile, mainstream newspaper to name Ciaramella as the whistleblower.
All we can say is: Better late than never.
“The whistleblower is most likely CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella,” the Post’s editorial board wrote.
Continuing, the board wrote: “If Ciaramella is the whistleblower, isn’t it also relevant that he, according to Sperry, previously worked with CIA Director John Brennan, a fierce critic of Trump, and Vice President Joe Biden, Trump’s political opponent and the crux of the impeachment inquiry? That he’s a registered Democrat and that he was – again, according to Sperry – accused of leaking negative information about the Trump Administration and that’s why he was transferred back to Langley?
“What, if anything, did he leak?” they asked. “Did he work with Biden on Ukraine, apparently Ciaramella’s area of expertise? Did he know about Burisma and Hunter Biden? Who told him about the call, and why did that person not complain instead of him? How did Schiff’s staff help him tailor the complaint?”
We already have at least one of those answers. In testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, Lt. Col Alexander Vindman said that he learned of problems with Trump’s phone call from an unnamed individual. When Republicans tried to get Vindman to tell them who he heard this from, Rep. Adam Schiff practically jumped out of his seat, insisting that it was necessary to protect the identity of the whistleblower. Again, it’s remarkable how much these Democrats know about a guy they claim to know absolutely nothing about.
As far as we’re concerned, The New York Post showed tremendous journalistic courage in publishing this editorial. We’re sure they will be criticized by their left-wing counterparts in the mainstream media, but that will only go to emphasize how cowardly and biased these outlets have been in covering the impeachment process. The American people aren’t stupid. They recognize a coverup when they see one; “Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself” isn’t a meme for nothing. Now it’s time for all responsible media companies to expose the biggest coverup in America.
Sunshine kills the dark. And it is all we need to kill the sham impeachment of President Donald Trump.
