(FixThisNation.com) – Top Senate Democrat Mark Warner, D-Va., recently responded to a liberal news channel that questioned the lack of transparency in the Biden administration relating to the case surrounding the mishandled classified documents.

Warner told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Wednesday, that this was the one thing that the “Biden administration gets an absolute failing grade” on. He continued by calling their stance “outrageous.”

The Senate Intelligence Committee Chair also admitted that so far, he and his colleagues had not been granted access to any of the documents yet.  He continued by contrasting this stance, to the position held by former Vice President Mike Pence who recently said that he was completely open to committee members potentially looking through all of the classified documents that had been found in his Indiana residence. As Warner pointed out, Pence would trust them with looking through the documents.

However, he proceeded to describe many of his problems with the Biden administration’s response and lack of willingness. The Justice Department and Attorney General Merrick Garland have also often changed their position on who is to blame for the lack of access to the documents. He proceeded to state that as head of the intelligence committee, he had a “constitutional responsibility” to have oversight in the case regarding the classified documents and ensure that they have appropriately been handled.
