Dems Invite Dead Dog to Vote
In desperation to get votes in next month’s midterm election, the Democrats are asking anyone and anything with a name to register and vote for them. Recently a dog in Michigan received such an invitation.
The Gateway Pundit reported the story of a Michigan resident who received a vote-by-mail application in the name of ‘Ruby’ on August 3, 2022. The note reads:
Dear Ruby, according to our review of publicly available records, you may not be registered to vote at your current address. If you have already registered at this address, or are ineligible to vote, please disregard this notice.
The note then instructs Ruby on how to register to vote. But Ruby was not able to read the invitation because Ruby is a dog and not alive anymore. The resident receiving the invitation to register wrote on it to reply:
Ruby is a dog – and deceased. Please correct before the Republicans find out and have an infantile meltdown.
The return address on the envelope is that of Michigan’s Democratic Party and the envelope shows that the Michigan Democratic State Central Committee in Lansing, MI, paid for the mail.
Democrats are long known to invite deceased people to vote for them in elections. But this is not the first time, a deceased animal has been asked to register to vote. In 2020, a cat named Cody in Atlanta, GA, received a voter registration application 12 years after his death. On receiving the mail for Cody, his owner Carol Tims commented:
If they’re trying to register cats, I’m not sure who else they’re trying to register. I don’t know if they’re registering dogs, mice, or snakes.
Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, is currently going through a lawsuit against her that accuses her of leaving 26 thousand dead people on the voter rolls despite being sent a detailed and carefully vetted list of Michigan’s deceased residents 6 weeks before the November 2020 election.
