Rep. Ilhan Omar Introduces Anti-Israel Boycott Resolution

Unrepentant after numerous anti-Semitic remarks she’s made about Israel, its supporters in Congress, and the role of Jewish money in American politics, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) announced this week that she will introduce a resolution in support of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement on the floor of the House.

In an interview with Al-Monitor, Omar said Tuesday: “We are introducing a resolution to really speak about the American values that support and believe in our ability to exercise our first amendment rights in regard to boycotting. And it is an opportunity for us to explain why it is we support a nonviolent movement, which is the BDS movement.”

The bill would push back against U.S. laws prohibiting the use of boycotts against the state of Israel. To promote it, Omar compared Israel to some of the worst nation-states of the 20th century.

“Americans of conscience have a proud history of participating in boycotts to advocate for human rights abroad including boycotting Nazi Germany from March 1933 to October 1941 in response to the dehumanization of the Jewish people in the lead-up to the Holocaust,” Omar said.

Omar also brought up the former Soviet Union and apartheid-era South Africa as examples to be compared to modern-day Israel.

You’ll not be surprised to see that Omar’s bill is co-sponsored by none other than Palestinian congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).

This is more evidence that, even within the already-radical Democratic Party, these congresswomen bring extremism to a new level. After all, the Democrat-led House Foreign Affairs Committee just passed a resolution condemning the BDS movement for promoting “principled of collective guilty, mass punishment, and group isolation.” If even the Democrats – who LOATHE Benjamin Netanyahu – can understand that a boycott of our closest Middle Eastern ally is madness, then what does that say about Omar, Tlaib, and the rest of the “Squad”?

Well, Nancy Pelosi says they are “our sisters.”

Her “sister” once said that “Israel has hypnotized the world, May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

Her “sister” accused AIPAC of buying off American politicians, which was the only reason that anyone in Congress would support Israel.

Her “sister” said, when terrorists were shooting rockets at innocent Israeli targets, “How many more protesters must be short, rockets must be fired, and little kids must be killed until the endless cycle of violence ends? The status quo of occupation and humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unsustainable. Only real justice can bring about security and lasting peace.”

So we’ll just have to take Pelosi at her word. Where stands one, stands them all. This is all you, Democrats.
