Senator Warns: If This Democrat is Elected, He’ll Be Immediately Impeached
In an interview with Bloomberg News this week, Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) said that Democratic Party voters might want to think twice about putting their support behind former Vice President Joe Biden. Ernst, who has been relatively moderate on the subject of President Donald Trump’s impeachment, nonetheless said that the wobbly charges against the president would open Biden up to the same process if he were to win the White House in November.
“I think this door of impeachable-whatever has been opened,” Ernst said. “Joe Biden should be very careful what he’s asking for because, you know, we can have a situation where if it should ever be President Biden, that immediately, people, right the day after he would be elected would be saying, ‘Well, we’re going to impeach him.’”
Asked what the grounds for Biden’s impeachment would be, Ernst explained: “For being assigned to take on Ukrainian corruption yet turning a blind eye to Burisma because his son was on the board making over a million dollars a year.”
Democrats and their cheerleaders in the media like to claim that Biden has been exonerated of all possible wrongdoing in that shady situation; in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is that all the facts line up. Biden was Obama’s point man on Ukraine. His son worked for an obviously-corrupt energy company under national investigation. Biden jumped in and demanded that Ukrainian leadership fire the prosecutor responsible for investigating Burisma. He admitted later to telling Ukraine that they would not get promised U.S. aid if they didn’t abide by this command.
Gee, sound familiar?
We’re not saying with 100% confidence that Biden was conflicted when he demanded that prosecutor Viktor Shokin be removed from his job. Perhaps he was simply carrying out the orders from his boss, the president. Perhaps his son’s position at Burisma had nothing at all to do with anything. But this story is not, by any stretch of the imagination, “debunked.” If anything, there is much more evidence to suggest corruption on Biden’s part than there is on Trump’s. And if it is precedent to impeach Trump for this situation, how would it NOT carry forward to the impeachment of Joe Biden?
Democrats really haven’t grasped yet the damage they’ve done to the country, to the election, and to their own party. By turning the impeachment process into just another political weapon, they have condemned this country to going through this charade over and over and over again. In twenty years, impeachment will be such a common tool that it’ll barely attract media attention. Our only hope is that Trump is re-elected in a landslide, thus showing both parties that impeachment for the sake of partisan hatred is a dead-end road.
