(FixThisNation.com) – Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) disclosed that the multiple investigations that former President Donald Trump is currently facing could mean that a potential win in the 2024 GOP presidential primary is “uncertain.”

In his commentary, Christie noted that he did not believe that the field is beginning “to look like Trump.” As he pointed out, with Trump being indicted in one location and facing investigations in two others, the results of the election are “uncertain.” He added that nonetheless, he is the former President so it makes sense for him to be the frontrunner of the election.

Earlier this month Trump became the first U.S. president, either sitting or former, in history to face criminal charges after he pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. The former President has taken full advantage of the Manhattan District Attorney’s investigation claiming it is a “witch hunt” and fundraising millions since his indictment.

Trump is also facing another district attorney investigation in Georgia relating to his attempts to overturn the election results in the state. He is also being investigated by the Department of Justice’s special counsel Jack Smith on two separate cases.

Trump was the first candidate to announce his participation in the 2024 presidential election. Since then his former ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, conservative entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) have also joined the race
