The 15-year-old from St. Cloud High School was arrested Thursday for allegedly assaulting the cop, who was trying to separate two 14-year-old students who had been fighting, according to local reports.

“What occurred to [the officer] was despicable and should never have happened.”

The name of the student who was arrested has not been released.

“Multiple law enforcement officers responded, and at least one student has been arrested. A video of the incident is being reviewed for discipline purposes,” Dana Schafer, the public information officer for Osceola County Public Schools, told Click Orlando.
